Dodge House Hotel Conv Ctr, Dodge City

We brought 8 race cars to race at DCRP.There was plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers.The rooms were large,clean,quiet,and the beds were comfortable.Sleeping in was no problem because you could not hear any of the noise of the early check-out crowd.Large hot FREE breakfast savings paid for 1 room.Nice western theme throughout hotel.Lots of activities for all ages in the enclosed courtyard.Very cozy,and we plan on staying there again in a few weeks.

The hotel staff were great - rooms clean - good value for money - nice bar and restaurant on site - easy to get to all attractions around Dodge City

My husband, son, and myself recently stayed three nights at the Dodge House. The rooms were nicely decorated, as was the lobby. The beds and selection of four various pillows per bed were awesome as was the free full breakfast buffet which included juice. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The newly decorated facility made for a very enjoyable experience. We are from Montana and would definitely stay at the Dodge House again.

The Good: Service and room was fine. The Bad: The design of the hotel lends itself to being loud as the rooms are accessed through an interior couryard that the pool, basketball court and other activities are located in right outside your room door. Would stay somewhere else next time passing through Dodge City.

WOW!!! What a change!! I was there a year and a half ago and it was AWEFUL!!! It smelled bad, was dirty, poor service, not kept up... NOW, IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!! They said they have new owners who spent over a million dollars fixing it up and it shows! Everything is like new - the rooms, bar, restaurant!!! Great work Dodge House! The only thing I can say negatively is that there was construction on the street leading to it. It was worth the hassel!!

I HAVE BEEN A REGULAR TO THIS HOTEL MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE FRONT DESK MANAGER TANYA. SHE REALLY KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE CUSTOMERS AND DEAL WITH PROBLEMS. I AM SAD TO SAY I WONT BE STAYING ANYMORE BECAUSE LAST TIME I STAYED MY RESERVATION WAS MESSED UP, I ASKED FOR TANYA AND THE GIRL WORKING SAID SHE WAS FIRED BECAUSE SHE TOLD THE OFFICE LADY OFF. WELL I HAD TO TAKE MY PROBLEM UP WITH THE OFFICE MANAGER WHOSE NAME IS MISTY, THIS LADY IS VERY RUDE AND DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT DEALING WITH A CUSTOMER,NO I WONT STAY AGAIN BUT IT IS A NICE HOTEL,JUST HOPE YOU DONT HAVE A PROBLEM OR YOULL HAVE TO MEET MISTY!!!

The staff here was very friendly, the owners do everything possible with in reason to keep guest happy, saw many housekeepers working, cleanest hotel ive seen during whole trip.

If you want to be greated by friendly staff this is not the place. The front desk staff are the rudest peopl I have ever met in my life. They are more interested in the TV and their cell phones than helping. If you ask them for anything that act like you are doing soemthing wrong. Overall the rooms are ok they could stand a few improvements but they are generally clean. I did enjoy the conveince of having the restraunt right there the bartener was just like the front desk staff. yes it was the middle of the week and yes it was after 11:30 but that is no excue to be rude. And they often shut down early even if they have customers.

My overall experience at the dodge house was a good one. The rooms were clean the construction was very good meaning you did not here the neighbors. The resturaunt was a good value. The only thing lacking in the room which I stayed in was a limited WiFy service. overall I would return to the dodge House

The decor was fitting for Dodge City but the room had hair in the tub from a previous guest, the parking area was hard to find and the outside entrance had trash and was very scary to park. If I had been by myself, I would have felt more uncomfortable than what I did. There was no safe for valuables in the room or available in the office. The food in the restaurant was OK however, being in the beef business, we were trying to figure out what kind of "angus beef" was served. We only stayed there because it was in the only room in town -- next time I would drive elsewhere.
