Great Western Inn, Junction City

you get what you pay for. i mean for small price you cant expect service like the hampton but it gets the job done. beds very comfortable and i had no complaints. breakfast was alright but coffee was there and thats all i needed. to me a good night sleep is all i can ask for and thats exactly what i got. so i was satisfied.

I have stayed at mutiple place here in junction city, but the most peaceful has got be the Great Western Inn. I loved it, i found it on accident, as i was lost through the town. As they say all great things happen on accident. I mean the Manager there is very down to earth person to talk to, you get the home feeling there. i rate it 5 star because the value exceeds the price they charge. It is really a best value hands down. My gosh it is so quite, and peaceful, i remember i sit out with the chair out and literally watch the sun go down, the site is breath taking from the hill. the motel is away from all the noise and traffic its perfect for me; peaceful and quite just as i like it. I would really recommend it to whom ever decides to stay in junction city.

I loved my stay there, I think once they got new management team in they turned things around inside and out. i was there for few days for my deployment to Iraq, I loved it there. Very peaceful no one there was bothering me. They provided an excellent service; quality of the staff was expionational rivals that of a holiday inn. They took care of me very well, heck I would of just paid money to talk to the staff very interactive. The owner comes into work every day and he to remember and treats guest with lots of respect. I loved it room was super could not have asked for anything better. Easily this is where I would stay next time i am in Junction City, really give credit to the new management team they really did turn things around last year.

I am guy but man peace like this at a hotel is hard to come around. Oh man, very very very peaceful. I think while i was there i have never had any complains about anyone there. normally at other motels i have to complain a lot about noise this and that with kids around. But this hotel is a jackpot. one in a million, i would love to stay here again and again if i am in that part of Kansas again for construction. they guy who works the front desk is quite amazing, i think he is one reason why i would stay there very very talkative and he knows what he is talking about. you know the feeling u get when some is trying to make a sale, thats is NOT THE FEELING I GOT while i was talking to him. The most amazing place i have ever staid, he also mentioned how he spend over 300,000 to renovate the motel. he put new toilets, new bath tubs, carpets and everything. so over all I enjoyed my stay.

i stayed here three different times to do work in the area. first time pretty uneventful only went to room at night to sleep. last two times were better they seemed to have been remodeling.owner was always curteous and my room was nicer than a lot of other places in the area. ive worked around there in the past.( junction city).
