never use again

reserved a hot tub room for 180.00 as we have for the past 10 years on new years eve. this year will be our last. the staff was very rude,the room was not clean,shuttle was booked all night or they say it was,no breakfast

GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY...

I was in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area for a Northern Iowa vs Western Illinios football game on Sept 24, 2011. The Ramada has a 1970's look to it, & could/should be updated, but it is a clean & comfy place to stay if in the Waterloo area. Everything worked the way it was supposed to, the bathroom, the lock, the cooling/heating, everything was good. The TV is the old picture tube one, unlike the flatpanels I have had at other Wyndham properties, but my biggest gripe was not having the Big 10 Network or the NFL Network on their cable menu. The staff were really good as well, they were user friendly. The Ramada is within a short walk to a few pubs for food & drinks as well, which I did. Next time I'm in the Waterloo area, I will stay here again.

I tried to have my wedding reception here. The staff was rude. I felt very uncomfortable every time I came here. The receptionist downstairs Are horrible rude. clesea bloom is a horrible business women that let other people cause her to run bad business. And the manager Dan didn't even give me as a customer to be heard. He just listened to his staff. and did't let me tell who and what i had problem's with. One of the person that was with me didn't get alone with one of the receptionist for personal reason's. And did'nt let me rent a room for my special day because of it. I had to remake all of my invitation's and find a place to have my wedding at the last minute. And hopes know one show up there thinking that the wedding is going to be there.

Excellent Personal Service!

The Staff at the Ramada were wonderful! They were all so helpful and friendly. We used the shuttle service to go to the water park and to the mall, and we had no wait time at all. Our room was clean, and a request for extra towels was granted immediately. The breakfast was very good, and the pool area was clean with plenty of clean towels. The room rate was very reasonable. We will recommend the Ramada to friends, and we will also go back to Waterloo. Overall, we were very impressed with how friendly and helpful the people were at both malls, the waterpark, and the restaurants. We are glad we stayed in Iowa for our summer vacation!

Enjoyed the stay, but...

I purchased a night stay at a funraiser for United Way. They refused to book a room for me in June. So when I call back to book one for September I was told I would have to go through a manager, so I left a message. I did not get a call back after 2 days. So I called again and left a message for a different manager. Finally got the rome booked, all the whild feeling becasue it was a comp. room that it was not a priority. When I checked in the cleark was amazing, she even called to make sure we were setteling in ok. The only other complaint was that the TV did not pick up the channels that were listed.

location excellent,the convention center right there we didn't have to go out side to my cousin wedding on 4-2008.same as it was when we had our family reunion ther in 8-1998. Holiday Inn then Still clean and frindly

Had a convention there & WOW

The staff at the hotel and convention center where awesome. They helped us with everything that we had asked. Front desk had our sleeping rooms ready and clean. Meeting rooms at the convention center were better then we could ask for.

A Comfortable Hotel

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wireless connection is great. It is connected to the convention center which is wonderful. It is not Trump Plaza, but it is a good hotel for business travelers.
