Price was pretty good considering the clerk agreed to overlook an extra adult. But the motel scrimped on niceties that travelers have come to expect, such as shampoo, hair dryers, coffee pots. When we requested shampoo from the desk we were asked how long we were staying. I suspect we would not have received any if we had only been staying one night. But the bathrooms were very clean, and the maid service was excellent, though I couldn't help being a little wary of the carpet. I kept my socks on. The furniture was old but not shabby, and a little out of style. Breakfast was donuts and coffee. Guests tended to leave the outer security door open. My son loved the pool. It was also very clean. A computer was available in the lobby for $10/hour.
