We were using the room as the home base for a bachelorette party. Our check in was quick and easy, with all of our pre-requests already fulfilled. I went to fill our cooler at the ice machine... just in time to catch a staff member putting up an "Out of Order" sign. She offered to take my cooler to the kitchen, fill it, and deliver it. They definitely went out of their way to make our stay fantastic!

Well first off, the package was for Valentines day. They had a DJ instead of the Piano bars as advertised. The food was good and the service was fine. The General Manager on the other had as very smug and uppity. Looking down at his guest that pay his salary. We had a good night and breakfast in bed with two small tea candles and some wine. Upon leaving ti s hotel I was pretty much pleased besides the entertainment at the bar. Two weeks later I received a bill for $250.00 for smoke removal. I was shocked first of all at the amount and then the fact that we don't smoke came was a huge concern. Thinking well they will certainly take off the charge when they find out that we don't smoke. Nope people I was treated like a dog, talked down to by Croy, the manager sorry me doesn't deserve a Mr....they said there were many complaints of smoking in that room the night before, but remember we didn't like the entertainment so we were at another bar till 3:00 am and we left at 8:30 after our dinner. They said they had to fumigate the room and it cost them money to do so. The only thing is we only had two tea candles in their room and we blew them out as we were leaving. Total disregard of the fact that we don't smoke was never taken into the conversation. We got the room because it was a non smoking hotel. Total bologna, we will never stay at this hotel our will any of our family or friends, $250 lost them many many returns. We have a wedding party of over 50 people that are staying at the Hilton downtown instead of this place. good luck if you stay there I would never suggest it. Thanks for treating your guest like dogs Croy, I have no idea how you still have a job.

I recently had to stay in Ft. Wayne, IN. unexpectedly. The rate was fair at $82.00 for a Friday night. The clerk helped me save ten bucks because she put me down as a member of AAA. Which, by the way, I'm not. Had as great that time that evening shooting pool and having drinks in Rum Runners. The cover was five dollars but the entertainment was worth it. An act featuring dueling pianos was very entertaining. The only disappointment was that the drinks were sort of weak. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.
