Clarion Hotel and Conference Center, Columbus

Obviously an older building living in its past. First morning here, no hot water...the pumps went out, not one but two. One of two elevators was down and the pop machine on the floor was out of service. No offer of any compensation for no hot water or the major inconvenience.

i can not believe your hotel allows employees to use their cell phones on the job. the person checking us in couldn't stop reading or sending text messages during our checkin. I've heard and seen multi-tasking but this was rediculous.

We dropped in for brunch! What a mistake! The waitress said there was no omelete bar, and there was. There was no heat on any of the buffet by the pool. Food was cold to say the least. Poor food, poor service, and we won't be back! Does this place have a manager?

First off, it took 25 minutes to actually check in...that is a very long time to wait in line, and when I got to the front of the line, no one apologized for the long wait. The clerks behind the desk just didn't seem interested in their job. The room that I stayed in was really gross. The air vent looked like it's never been cleaned, and was blowing stinky, moist air, causing the carpet to feel kinda sticky. I never took my shoes off. There were also flies in the room, and the bedding had cigarette burns on it. There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom that wasn't very attractive. They said no other rooms were available, which I didn't believe because the parking lot wasn't that full, and it just didn't seem crowded. The pool area was really nice though, the kids enjoyed that. We spent most of the time there, only because I didn't want to sit in that room. Thank goodness we were only there 1 night. The rooms are need of some upgrades.

This is the most beautiful place I have ever stay at. The restaurant's food is good and theprice is fair. The waitress's are friendly, We come back here to eat even when we don't stay here. Brought my mom from NC just to show here the inside. STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE TO STAY IN COLUMBUS!!!!!

The receptionist Amy was rude during check-in and check out. The room was filthy. It was loud and was unable to sleep. Please make sure a repeat stay is not the same.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at this hotel, all of our guests stayed there, and we had a wedding party breakfast in the restaurant the next morning with the whole family. It was amazing. The ballroom was so beautiful. It looked like something out of a fairy tale. Everyone was so professional and nice. Our wedding was a couple years ago and our family and friends still comment on how much they enjoyed staying at this hotel.
