NEVER AGAIN
By Carol, 12/07/09
Our Christmas party was at the hotel on December 5, 2009. When I checked in the corridor leading to my room was cold. The room was unheated and was cold and I had to turn on the heat in order for it to get warm. Brown water came out of the shower initially. I requested room service only to be told it was not available. The food at the Christmas party was inedible and when I complained to the wait staff, he merely took my plate away and offered no alternative. When I went to breakfast the following morning, the manager of the restaurant was incredibly rude to me and my mother. I had a gift certificate for breakfast and he could not understand what it covered. The vending machines were void of water but had no indicating lights. After trying two floors, I finally went to the front desk to get some water. I called to get the email address for the GM and after taking an hour to compose a message to him, I discovered that the person had given me the wrong address after repeating it to me twice. Please do not waste your time or your money in this establishment. They clearly do not understand the value of customer service and repeat business.

Horrible financial management
By guest 3, 09/19/08
This hotel is a rippoff. I was supposed to attend a 6 days conference where I was paying 80$ extra per day in order to accomodate for the extra meals (breakfast and lunch), however I stayed 2 more days without any meals and was charged more than I payed during the conference days . I called many times and I was promised the money will be refunded. never happened. This was a great disappointment from a hotel like holiday inn but would advise staying away from this hotel if you are paying for a complete package.

serious safety issues
By darlene, 09/11/08
Over all it was a terrible experience. From start to finish. I could get over the room needing to be redone, no availability of toothbrushes, and the fire alarm at 7 am. What I can not get over is how poorly they handle the alarms, that according to a worker here it happens all the time because of the microwave ovens. If it was a real fire we would not have had proper notice. The alarm was not loud enough if you are in the shower or in a deep sleep. And no one was going around to make sure people heard it. Or even calling rooms to wake them. How hard would it be to have the phone system ring the rooms? They apparently do more after they know it is a real fire. At that point it's too late. If you expect to empty half your hotel that way especially with people carrying babies and toddlers you are setting people up for tragedy. Pool was nice and there are a lot of extras that are nice, but with all the hotels in this area and within a 10 minute drive of here I would chose a place that values saftey more than this one does.

Spineless Company

Would never stay there again. When I read they cancelled a Pro Family group that had reservations for an Oct meeting because they thought it might be controversial. I thought what is this world coming too.
