Holiday Inn Express St Charles, St. Charles

The Staff was extraordinary! The room was quite nice, the bed was very, very comfortable! The hotel itself had a nice pool area. Everything was spotless. We had a great visit!

The morning breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express was great! The woman who was in charge of the breakfasts was friendly and very helpful! The towels in my room were shredded. The bathroom sink/counter is too low. The shower head did not work well. Everything else was fine. Nana from Clive, IA

The Holdiday Inn Express in St.Charles is a great place to stay! Very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Oh yeah, the best shower ever! The continental breakfast very good also. They had what seamed to be home made muffins, huge bagels, etc.

I called the hotel because while there were photos of the hotel, there were none of the actual rooms. A very abrupt clerk named Maria quoted a price of $109. I noted that the internet, in several places, says "from $75" - "It depends on availability" she said. I remarked that she didn't even ask the dates of my reservation, nor the kind of room I wanted. Her comment was "well, she didn't know" - she was abrupt, argumentative and defensive. I wonder how a hotel can list a price from $75 and then tell you, without knowing your dates, $109 and "it depends on availability" I think an organization like this, if they have nice rooms, can be organized enough to put the photos on the internet without telling a prospect customer that they "have been too busy...." I wouldn't want to stay here and be treated the way I was on the phone. My business is public relations so maybe I could provide them with a service.
