no bathroom vent
By Emilie, 11/7/11
Our room was very small, and there was no vent in the bathroom. With four in the room taking showers, the whole room got very hot and muggy and it was that way for the duration of our stay. The bedding became "damp" feeling as well as our clothes. We didn't have a view from our room, there was another hotel right outside our window blocking us from seeing anything. It was a good price for downtown Chicago, but you get what you pay for. :) On the plus side, it was very clean and the concierge was more than helpful.. gave us great directions and advice.

Great Experience!
By LR, 6/24/11
Everyone from check-in to check-out were very nice and friendly. Our room was great and even had a view. Everything was clean and the location was great. Good restaurants close by. I expected to mattress to be better, but it wasn't bad for one night.

BYPASS THIS HOTEL - TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/22/10
I ended up paying $259 for a room that did not even have a bed - it was a PULL OUT COUCH!!!!! The water takes 10 minutes to heat up. Truly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TRIP HERE!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/26/10
Truly horrible experience. The lobby is impressive and the first front desk attendant was great, however everything after this point was awful. Our room itself was missing electrical plate covers and had chipped floors and counters with goopy glue messes where they had tried to attach pieces, not to mention stains on the duvet and very minimal lighting (2 bedside ights and one corner lamp). Hotel bar was typically closed even though it was advertised as being open every afternoon and night. The only time we saw it open was on a Saturday night when it closed at 1am despite being packed. (bar time is 4) Perhaps the most aggrivating problem we experienced was when the hotel mistakenly locked us out of our room for "credit reasons". They initially made us new keys which did not work and then accused me of having an unauthorized credit card. They finally realized their mistake, but instead of being apologetic for their error they made us wait for a half an hour outside our room before someone showed up to reset the lock so we could get inside. After all of this I also had the cleaning ladies walk in on me in the shower. The worst hotel experience I've had. I would have preferred a budget motel off the interstate

lobby is like grand central station
By Anikay, 7/12/10
If one is booking a convention or large group one should take in the odd/even numbers of the east-west towers so as to discern fellow group members room locations. also the difficulty of parking for drop off/meet and greet (Chicago cops threaten to hook tour bus of mostly senior citizens before they could complete boarding) having cited minues of hotel now will state my room facing the river as it joins the lake made for a nice view the staff was w/o exception courteous I would only book again personally in off season..in July hotel too busy for my personal taste

A NICE TIME!
By jamie, 2/23/10
i thought the staff was very helpful and curtious, we arrived to our room to our surprise was still dirty and not cleaned for us, house keeping was there right away to make it right as well as the front desk cut the rate in half for inconvience ! stetsons steak house was great food and service! will return even after a rough start, beautiful place and great location! great prices for the heart of chi town! over all liked it !
