Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, Chicago

I gotta say this hotel really was great! P.S. if you use SweetHotelDeals. Net for booking this hotel they usually have some pretty good hotel deals at this time of the year!

Easy acess to everything I wanted to see. walking distance or take the free trolly right outside the door. Staff was wonderful and helpful in every way. the view from our room was like no other over looking the city. Exceptional room, clean and modern.

If your all about the location then go! Made a reservation 2 wks in advance. Got to hotel and room was not available and was down sized to a 1 bed room for a family of 4. Room was too small and we were crowed. Nice view but would have liked a more comfortable room. Be careful when booking....you don't always get what you reserve. Decided to check out and go somewhere elese....then they wanted to give us a bigger room....too little too late. We left. Very dissapointed. Put damper on our vacation.

Hotel is beautiful, but the step off the bar area are dangerous. They look like one large step. There is not definiition between the steps and the floor. all one color. Watch those steps.

Someone broke into my room at night and stole my laptop computer and cell phone. The perp pushed me down and ran down the stairwell. I would recommend against this hotel as they have not found the thief.

the concierge wuz amazing. expecially enrique. also, the staff was very friendly except the security gaurds. everyone was very helpful and it felt like a safe enviornment to be in. i love BIFFLE. aka. enriqueee. :)

me and my 3 friends stayed there yesterday and they had amazing staff and the hotel was beautiful. we stayed out in the hotel all day and all night including the morning. we made a new friend the conceirge is very nice. they have good looking workers. there elevator rides last at the most thirty seconds. they have very clean rooms and bathrooms, and they help you with anything.

Awsome hotel, awsome staff, perfect location. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice, and a great workout room. My family and I had a blast while there, the hotel made it even better

good: location, location, location. nice big sterile hotel. nice gym, pool and weight room. Did i mention how great the location was? half block to the navy pier trolley. two blocks to chicago river. back (or is it the front) of hotel is right on magnificent mile. short distance to all the great restaurants. bad or ehhh: elevators are not slow, but they travel in packs. there never arrives only one in the lobby, always three arrive at the same time, so you usually wait for all three to arrive. you have to pay for high speed internet. our particular maid didn't clean our room one day and we had to call housekeeping. our room was tiny. decent sized desk, but room was so small, when sitting at the desk, my wife couldn't get around the back of chair and the edge of the bed. the decent sized desk had a 1990's 26inch tv on it that took up half the space. marriot should spring for a flat panel. no exhaust in bathroom. service was professional and the location, right on ohio avenue just couldn't be beat. the location overcomes all the little annoyances. btw, got a great price on the whole deal from yahoo travel too.

We recently stayed here for a convention and we had alot of fun! Hotel lobby is always lively not sterile like "nicer hotels". friendly staff, great knowledge of area and fun things to do. Rooms were a little on the small side but this hotel is walking distance to the navy pier and Rush Street (a must for nightlife). I still cannot get over how friendly everybody in Chicago was, not at all like Florida!!!! Check out this hotel! Hope you have as much fun as we did!
