the concierge wuz amazing. expecially enrique. also, the staff was very friendly except the security gaurds. everyone was very helpful and it felt like a safe enviornment to be in. i love BIFFLE. aka. enriqueee. :)

Not safe

Hotel is beautiful, but the step off the bar area are dangerous. They look like one large step. There is not definiition between the steps and the floor. all one color. Watch those steps.

Comfortable place to stay

The Marriott is very Central to Shopping and Restaurants downtown. It is two blocks from the Subway and not a bad walk to Pier 39. I highly recommend this Hotel.

great get away weekend hotel

This Marriott is in a great location - quick walk to the Magnificent Mile shopping. The lobby bar is large and comfortable with cozy seats and sofas. Service is very good and the beds are very comfortable. Rooms are a good size and updated.

A Definate For Fun

We recently stayed here for a convention and we had alot of fun! Hotel lobby is always lively not sterile like "nicer hotels". friendly staff, great knowledge of area and fun things to do. Rooms were a little on the small side but this hotel is walking distance to the navy pier and Rush Street (a must for nightlife). I still cannot get over how friendly everybody in Chicago was, not at all like Florida!!!! Check out this hotel! Hope you have as much fun as we did!

Bathroom in room is very small. You have to close the door before you sit on the toilet or you could take your legs off. Lobby is very dark. Restaurants are over-priced. The pool is nice, so is the health club. Don't expect any service in the lobby. The daytime concierge can't understand English very well, and is of no help. Beds are extremely soft, so if you have a bad back, don't expect to feel any better. Don't order room service, toast is $5.00 plus 20% service charge!

Great choice for convention hotel

Great location; good food in Ventoso, convention attendees were given the attention in their individual rooms and meeting rooms that they deserved. However, elevator service was way below what it should have been and there was no explanation given by hotel why this was the case.
