kimdom

We had a very bad experience with this hotel. We booked a room for my son's birthday party because we heard that they were very accomodating. This did not turn out to be the case! I would not reccomend using them for any sort of event, the staff completely ruined my son's sixth birthday party for me. At one point I actually teared up it was so awful. The plaque up front says satisfaction guaranteed and we certainly were not satisfied. We were so upset we didn't even stay the night, we finished our party and checked out early.

Going downhill from what it was.
By chauncy_jacob, 12/28/09
I would not recommend. Not owned by Intercontinental Group Hotels and not near the quality. I used my Platinum point for my folks stay Dec 24 - 27. Upon arrival, I helped them check in and found no maid service would be available on Dec 25 - that can be understood. The room was out of toilet paper and not enough coffee for 2. After check out, my father told me there had not been any no maid service during the whole stay. Owned by Trinity Hotel Investors LLC - not up to standards of their other hotels.

A pleasant surprise
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/24/09
The staff was friendly, helpful, smiling and inquired after our needs with genuine interest. The clerk then proceeded to provide us with a room that met all our needs, including a room far from the noise of an event at the convention center so we could get a good night's sleep. In the mornting, the restaurant staff we equally pleasant and friendly. The room may have been average, but the staff made you feel like the best customer of a five-star hotel.

Dissatisfaction
By RyanS, 2/24/08
Will not recommend. They are other hotels nearby and you will get the value for your money in other places. Customer service as well as is pathetic. I would strongly advice to stay away from this hotel.

Never again
By mewasew, 9/19/06
Arrived here with family when my wife tried to check in, while I parked, she discovered that the reservation for two double beds for four people non-smoking had been replaced with one king. When I arrived and tried to check in with a different desk clerk they informed me that there was no problem with the reservation and proceeded to process the reservation. I was then presented the keys and informed me that we had a King size bed but at a higher price than our confirmation. I suggested she look up from her computer - that we would be uncomfortable with four of us in one king bed. I gave her a copy of the confirmation, she then found two double beds for us, but in a different building then that reserved, however at the correct price. When we arrived at the room discovered that she had put us in a smoking room - back to the desk. Finally a double double bed non-smoking, unfortunately in serious need of an update. Exhausted from a check in process that took almost an hour we went to eat in the hotel restaurant - ended up getting the meal for free because it was so bad.

Holidome not a holiday for sleep
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/5/05
We had a room connecting to the Holidome (area that has the indoor recreation. Pool time to close was 10pm, we heard people out there till close to midnight, also people shooting pool.... so you cant sleep very well if you are near the Holidome. Room was clean, beds comfortable.

Its ok for a overnight stay.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/11/05
Its better to go out and have your dinner somewhere rather than room service from the hotle resturant. Otherwise the hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff is helful.
