Good value. Basic.
We have stayed here three times. Like many of the reviews said, it's not luxury. But, it is clean, convenient, and we've always found the staff friendly and accommodating.
Hint: ask for a coffee maker and microwave. They'll immediately bring them to your room.
Another hint: do use the bar on the sliding door. Theft can be a problem.
Last hint: do opt for the smallest car you can get. The parking spaces are tiny. I guess they listened when someone said they needed more parking spaces. Be careful what you wish for.
The grounds are gorgeous with two pools and a lanai overlooking the ocean and Alii Drive. The rooms are basic, but clean. And, great news, THE TOWELS ARE LARGER NOW....not huge, but they cover......you get the picture. Yeah!
Location is great. Convenient to pier, shops, restaurants, etc. Sure, you can get a luxury room elsewhere, but how much time are you really going to spend in your room? Kona Seaside makes the trip affordable. We've looked around and keeping going back.
