Hyatt-Honolulu
By Cami, 8/12/06
Hyatt has a wonderful location on Kalakaua ave near Waikiki beach and the shops along the commercial avenue.Inside the hotel is a lovely walk-way atrium with a huge waterfall, cafes and boutiques. At the rear of the hotel is Koa st. and along here are noodle shops and small, cozy restaurants perfect for a leisurely repas. On Koa St. is a thimble sized shopping mall of specialty shops known as King's Village that spirals along an outdoor brick ramp. Each evening,6PM, at Kings Village is a flag ceremony with guards dressed in royal blue uniforms. Its quite unique as they twirl their rifles about and lower the Hawaiian flag. All this and more at Hyatt-Honolulu cause Hawaii isn't just the hula anymore!

Hotel is located in the middle of everything (shops, beach, nightlife) and the staff was outstanding!!!! Also, the hotel has several good restaurants and other shops. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone.

What a wonderful hotel!
By Karen, 8/1/06
I booked the trip with a choice of Hyatt and flight ticket through Expedia. It was such a wise choice! Expedia offered a breakfast package without additional charge. The buffet breakfast was originally $24/person, but it's free now. Breakfast has well enough selection and great services! Hotel itself is clean, nice, and smells good. Shower head is very powerful, and the amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and shower gel have eucalyptus scent. Hotel provides turn down services upon request. Hotel location is convenience, its in the middle of Kalakaua Avenue and next to Waikiki giving. Overall, I gave an A to this nice beautiful hotel.

The Great Hotel
By Carolyn, 6/24/06
We enjoyed our seven night stay. The staff was great and very helpful. The view of the mountains was excellent. I did not enjoy the hotel restuarants that much. The food was just OK and the service was mediocre while the prices were very high. My husband and I had a great time in Honolulu. The people of Hawaii were very friendly. We loved the Polynesian Cultural Center. We love Hawaii and we are looking forward to a return visit.

We love this Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/3/06
The service is excellent and the staff is the friendliest I've ever met. Great stay and LOVED the new renovated rooms! Please dine in the restaurants as they are some of the best seafood and cuisine for the area, especially the Colony Restaurant.

Perfect Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/5/06
I went to Honolulu for the second time with my family, and we decided to try a new hotel. When we first got here, we were stunned with the excellent service! It had a very fancy look to the hotel and it was very peaceful and relaxing! WE MIGHT COME AND STAY HERE AGAIN!

It was like Heaven on Earth
By Republicrat, 9/26/05
When we arrived, we stepped into a lobby/courtyard of unparalled beauty. There was an indoor waterfall and sunlight poured in from everywhere. The brochure we parused had not done the place justice. We were simply awestruck. From there it only got better. The service was first rate in all departments. The staff was more than just friendly, they were gracious. By the time we left, we felt as though we were leaving old friends. There was nothing we disliked about our stay at the Hyatt Waikiki, and yes, we would love to return again someday.
