Days Inn Smyrna, Smyrna

I stayed June 2009 with husband and children. When I arrived the lady at the front desk was holding a conversation with someone over the telephone, she continued with her call for about five mins, then decided to address me. After we recieved our room keys we went to our room the room was decent. We dedided to take our kids for a swim in the outside pool. The gates to the pool were locked, so we had to wait for someone to find the right keys to let us in. When they finally got the right keys we saw why the pool gates were locked, the pool was dirty, bugs was floating in the water, dirt was settled on the bottom, and there was no smell of clorine in the water. We were totally upset about this since they advertised a pool, qand we paid almost $100.00. We had to call the front desk 10 times (I counted) to see if we could get a cot. The lady at the front desk was no help she stated "The maintanece man has left for the day and I am the only one here". She stated she could get A BLANKET off another bed in a different room. Needless to say this was the worst Holiday inn I have ever stayed at. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I don't know what the people in the other reviews were talking about but this place is a complete waste of your money and time. There are plenty of other places to stay on the same strip, drive past this place and check in at another hotel. Linda

This was an excellent place to stay. The room was large with all amenities. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was all we could ask for. The hotel was convenient to the highway, although you have to make a U-turn on a busy road to get back on. Rush hour traffic was very bad. There were many places to eat in the area. And overall, it was a good place to stay.

the desk staff was very courteous and pleasent. the house keeping staff were very proficient and attentive to our needs. the continental breakfast was just super. Good Job. we were there with you from 05-10-07-0513-07. Ira A. Petty Sr.

Great central location. Only 5-10 mins. from great restaurants. Nice staff and room was kept clean for my week stay. They have a very large and well kept outdoor pool.

My family and I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express at least five times. This is usually our first choice every time we come to Atlanta. It's great if you don't want to be right in the middle of things, but still convenient enough to popular attractions. We plan on staying there again this summer, 2006!
