Good Hotel Great Location !
By John, 06/19/09
We recently stayed at this hotel and our stay was pleasant. Our rooms were clean and well kept and the location is close to everything. And most of all the hotel is QUIET !!! our room was next to the pool and it was still very quiet. We will be back.

Okay Room
By Kathy J, 10/15/07
We stayed here in September. The room looked clean but smelled like dog. I didn't complain since my husband thinks this place is it. He wants to stay there in a few weeks but I don't unless we can get a guarantee of a better room.

good stay until the end...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/17/07
we chose this hotel because we heard it was the best in savannah and let me tell you were we so very wrong..well let me say that the stay itself was ok but on the day when we was checking out the house keeper decides that she was not going to knock on our door instead use her key to just walk in our room it was not even time to check out yet well as she proceeded to walk in one girl in the room had no clothes on and we was yelling whoa, whoa, whoa she dont have any clothes on then she still proceeded to push the door open look behind the door where the girl with no clothes on was standing and so "oh" well i was just wondering what time yall was checking out...i mean hello?? that is total invasion of privacy then i call the hotel to complain and the "manager" which in fact is not the manager "puts me on hold" in other words hangs up on me. He was implying that i was lying about the whole situation..so then i call back and talk to the real manager he then apologizes and says he would take care of it. i got a free room but the damage was already done. other than that poor excuse for housekeeping it was ok.

I would stay here again
By M, 04/18/07
My service experience is very good so far. The attendants are polite and filled my requests immediately. I am here right now visiting Savannah. I came down from N.C. in order to visit with my son who attends SCAD. I would come again and stay at LaQuinta. Though it is not a brand new hotel the accommodations and location is fine. Not to far from downtown, eateries and mall all nearby. Denny's and Bennigan's is right next door. My room is very nice, there is no mold, no dirt, etc. No, it is not home but anyone desiring a clean room and a place of rest would fine this accommodating. My advice to anyone travelling would be to always take lysol. Even if you are at the most expensive of hotels. This is just common sense. Overall it is clean and well-maintained. I hope this reveiw has been helpful. P.S. Breakfast was fine, waffles, boiled eggs, biscuits/gravey, fruit, coffee, juices, toast, and donuts. I'm sure I am missing something but that is the jist of what I saw in the lobby area and it was a decent meal. Everything was fresh. If you want sausage, bacon, etc you will need to go to the restuarant. Peace, Vanessa Durham, North Carolina

wonderful place to stay
By Debbie, 10/14/06
our son goes to school at savannah college of art and design in savannah. we've stayed at this hotel 4 times. we think it's great. everything is perfect here except for one thing. we've stayed here when we've moved our son in and out of school.we come from chicago. it's a long drive. so, with the traveling, and moving by the time we would get back to the hotel in the evening, it would be nice to sit by the pool and relax. but, unfortunetly it closes at 9 and the last time we were there, about a month ago. the security man closed it at 8:30 and we asked him if we could for a quick swim and he said no the pool was already closed. we saw that he had just locked it up. so, i definetly think the pool closes to early. but, everything else, staff, cleanliness, breakfast. fantastic.

I'd return here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/05
Stayed there two nights mid-January 2005 and had a plesant experience in this very clean and friendly place. I guess the best tribute would be to say that I would not hesitate to stay there again when I need a room in the Savannah-area.
