Dandelion Inn, Commerce

I was told the rates were 79.99 a night two weeks prior to my stay but friends of ours stayed the same time and was charged 39.99 a night.

The lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful. The motel seemed like it was really clean but it wasn't. She gave us a room and we checked it out and the comforter on the bed had staiins on it eww. We reported this to her and she gave us another room same thing. Finally she gave us a room without stains on it. She told us the cleaning lady will hear about this. And i seen the cleaning lady she looked nasty. So i guess she didn't know what clean was. The breakfast was alright i guess. The pool was closed cause they had to balance it. The workout room had spiderwebs on the equipment eww. They need to hire someone else to clean the motel if they want to keep their happy go customers lol!

I have to agree with the other reviewer. You need to stay away from this place. They advertise a good price, but it was jacked up another forty dollars. They claim it was a blackout due to a race, but the place looked empty. I knew I should have declined. The lobby looked good. We got to the room and if they call it renovated, they have to be kidding. The bathtub was two-toned. The bed was propped up by the yellow pages. The dresser drawers looked like it was falling apart. The wifi really didn't work at all. We got up in the morning for their deluxe continental breakfrast. I wouldn't call it deluxe. There wasn't much there. The orange juice was really watered down. It might be about 25% orange juice and 75% water. They had a sign that said nothing could be taken out of the lobby, it had to be eaten there. I have never seen a sign liked that in any motels/hotels that I have stayed in. I would say keep moving to the next town even if you are tired.

Liked: Surprisingly nice for the price. Was expecting a seedy room but it was very clean and new. Apparently they've been renovating rooms since last year. Highly recommend it if you care about saving $. Use that extra cash on the outlets :) Disliked: Nothing really. Very pleasant experience.
