Impossible to get sleep
By Marion M, 05/19/09
Did they mention the hotel is a motel; right next to the interstate? Even the rooms in the 'new building' smell old and musky, absolutely horrible. You can hear your neighbors, which in my case arrived very loudly at 12:30 am and 4:30 am, then ran their showers for 30 minutes which sounded like they're right next to my bed. Finally I was able to get some sleep only to have housekeeping knock 3 times, despite the 'do not disturb' sign .... Essentially you get what you paid for, or in this case even less!

Worst place I ever stayed
By Debby, 11/14/08
The first room they gave us had a fold out couch. When we opened it the bed had been used, filthy wrinkled sheets with cigarette butts in it. We were reluctantly given another room. The walls were filthy, the toilet rocked on its base, and the TV didn't work. The town was sold out or we would have left.

Save your $ and go somewhere ELSE!!!
By BenevolentBEE, 11/14/08
Let me think,I didn't like ANYTHING about this place.Oh wait, maybe the price I paid??? No,it was NOT worth it. The night of my arrival, the pull out bed has CIGARETTE BUTTS in it!!! I ask to be moved to another room, and there were only face towels. No regular towels AT ALL. The second night I arrive back from a business meeting and the maid did not make the beds @ ALL! Also, the swimming pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in AGES.

Awful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/05/08
This hotel is dirty, moldy, run-down, and the worst we have EVER stayed in. We were not looking for a fancy room for the night, just wanted a clean, comfortable, and safe-feeling place to rest. And might I mention the strip club next door, the incredible traffic noise, and the banging on our hotel room window in the middle of the night. Bad news all around for this place. Save yourself and keep on looking for another alternative.

This hotel was the worst damm hotel i've stayed at. The hole place smell like shit all through it. The sevice from workers was not to good. The beds was hard as concrete, the ceiling had spots in it, air sounded like an hourly alarm, elevators took 30 min to get up and down, parking 15 dollars a damm day, you don't find that out to you check in, doors would not lock, cafe was closed, carpet was funky, and so much other shit that i was unhappy with. THE ONLY GOOD THING I WAS ON THE 6TH FLOOR AND COULD FEW THE CITY BUT I WILL NEVER SLEEP THERE AGAIN

Doubt I'll return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/06/07
I attend a local convention in downtown Atlanta every year so this hotel's cost and proximity to the downtown area were very attractive. Upon arriving though, the room was terrible. Carpet had a big wet spot that had developed a smell. The heater set off the smoke alarm when I turned it on, one of the electrical outlets had no cover on it, and one of the light bulbs was blown. Aside from that, the front door required a lot of "wiggling" and slamming before the latch would engage. I noticed this quickly, but to my shock when I returned from my activites the second day the cleaning crew hadn't gone through the effort, and I found my door unlatched. Opened right up with just a push. Nothing was taken (most really valuable stuff was with me anyways), but still very unsettling. I also got an uneasy feeling in the area. Had the gas station attendant calling 911 for harrasing characters outside, and several beggars try to hit me up for money outside in the parking lot. There's also a strip club right next door. To their credit, the hotel desk staff was nice when issues were brought to their attention, but I still don't think I'll be returning here. On a positive note they did have free wireless internet which seemed to work well.

Will not be using this Days Inn again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/07
I went on-line as always to book a room for my family's vacation. I requested 1 room with 2 queen beds, non-smoking. What I got was 1 room with 2 double beds, non-smoking. When asking the desk clerk (who had a bad attitude) she said this was there queen beds. I have a queen bed at home. I know the difference in queen and double and believe me this was not queen beds. I tried to talk to someone else another time and she didn't have time because she was looking for her phone. At check out I talked with someone and they listend and did refund half my money for 1 night, but could not really give me a reason for us not getting what we thought we were other than there Days Inn has no queen size beds and maybe next time call and book the room. Very bad experience.
