Best place for the best price!

The price was very affordable for our income. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Tyhe rooms were clean and housekeeping made sure of that on a daily basis. I would definatley reccomend this place to visitors not looking for a high class hotel, but a nice, clean, safe place to stay.

Horrible

Absolutely the worst place I ever stayed at. There was a hairy booger by our phone, I guess that's their version of mints on the pillow. I was ripped off, paid 370 for two nights. Online I found it advertised for 50. DO NOT STAY HERE, don't even call.

Never going to reserve this spot again!!!!

I am not sure what other people encountered when they stayed. But this place was so outdated and dirty. The rooms smelled musty. My 12 year old was complaining the minute we hit the lobby and after checking in and hoping the rooms would provide something better, we were highly dissappointed. The smell of the room hit us before we got in the door. I immediately checked out and went across the street. If it is any indicator of how bad it was, I knew they were gonna charge me a 24 hour stay just for cancelling. I paid it and stayed somewhere else. After I left I saw another lady do the same thing. She saw the room and immediately left and wound up with at the same facility as me.

I stayed 1 night and liked this place.The lady on the front loved to talk and made us feel welcome.She was able to help us go to the best restaurant for our tastes.I would stay here again.

Great for the price by Judy Bowen

We have been going to the Sand Castle for several years when we attend a meeting in nearby Statesboro, Ga. The meeting is in November so Tybee is pretty quiet at that time. Therefore, we look for value since it is not the peak season. Thus far the Sand Castle Inn has not disappointed us. The reservations are easy, the room is clean, cheery and reasonable. It's also convenient for a stroll on the beach. The service has been excellent. We were there November 17, 2006 of this year and we were pleased as always. We visited the Crab Shack which was also super. For an overnight stay a few hours outside of Atlanta it was perfect. Keep up the good work Sand Castle. Judy and Jerry Bowen Lithonia, GA
