Key problem
By Eyenstien, 09/28/09
The walk to our room was quite far. We left the hotel and when we returned to the room our key didn't work. I had to get a new set of keys which didn't work. An engineer arrived and we were able to access our room. After about 30 min we were moved to a different room which had mold in the fridge and the floor wasn't vacuumed. We were then moved to another room and everything was fine for the rest of your stay. They place is outdated and I would only stay again due to the price.

WE WILL NEVER GO BACK! ALFUL! OUTDATED,POOR STAFF.
By Bill, 08/20/09
there was nothing we really liked. from the time me and my friend checked into this hotel till the time we checked out,it was a dissapointment, and I would not recomend this hotel to anyone,I even called the manager and emailed the assistant manager for the complaints and didn't get anywhere, just because my friend had a 2 day voucher for the so called free room,we still had to pay the taxes on the room, and as soon as we stood in line to check in,we heard a woman arguing with the clerk demanding to see a manager, right then that was the first strike, something about the room charge and after driving 11 hours to get there,we still had to wait an hour to get in the room, which wasn't too bad,but after waiting to get the keys for the room, we had to walk quite a way to get to the room and the keys didn't work,so we had to walk all the way down to the elevator back to the lobby for new keys, then we were told we had to wait for the maintance to bring us new keys, after finally getting into the room,it was just so dingy looking, old ,then we went down to the lounge/bar to get a drink, well that was joke too,the bartender if you can call her that, was mostly on her cell phone,we ordered a drink, she said that she was going to experiment on us to make a drink special, she didn't know what to put in the drinks, I ordered a glass of wine which was terrible, she gave me another and that was just as bad, no other to choose from, the brochure said that ther were freeO'derves from 6-8pm which they did not have anymore, I ordered something to eat,an appetizer from the bar which the bartender got from pizza hut, they were wings which were terrible,we left and didn't go back we went outside the hotel to a real bar/restraunt.the food was terrible,we were expecting a little more than what we got, the unfriendliness of the staff, the service, the cleaniness of the hotel and the room was just so bad, and we even paid for an extra day at full price, and never once was asked to go to another room.evry time we mentioned something to the clerks, they just didn't seem to care or respond, the hotel was so busy and alot of families and hardly any staff to accomadate the customers, and the waiting was just so ridiculous,we know it was near disney and all that but we weren't interested in that, this is the hotel they chose on the travel package, had we known that it was like this we would have not even gone, not to mention that my friend drove from maryland to asheville NC wher I live and then we drove from NC to florida was very exhasting, and we wre expecting a little more than what we experinaced,I have made several complaints to the manger and the assistant manager of the hotel, the assistant manager did contact me and told me what do you expect for free, when it wasn't really free,we still had to pay taxes on the room, gas to get there and then be treated like we were was just uncalled for, I want people to know about this place, theres so much more to tell about this hotel, but I'm running out of characters,I've stayed in many hotels but this was the worst,it really needs a make over a major renovation,I can see why its so cheap! and definetely new staff! and one more thing,I have never heard of leaving your ID for a luggage cart to take our things out to the car,and not getting my ID back till I brought the cart back, unbelieable! terrible,we had a convertable mustang for gods sake, like wher would we have put it, we barely had enough room for us,what a ridiculous policy,I've stayed in nicer hotels than this one and never had i had to do that.this place surely gets a poor rating from me and my friend,I will let everyone I know about this hotel! 'ALFUL,POOR,UNFRIENDLY,DIRTY! IT NEEDS ANOTHER ELEVATOR ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BUILDING,BETTER FOOD, BETTER STAFF.THE POOL FURNITURE was old and falling apart, the parking lot was not acceptable.

For a brief stop over, this is the place
By bccwildcat, 07/06/09
Most patrons are on travel vouchers so check in will be long an tedious. Had to leave the line and re-enter when they wouldn't check me in. Had to wait for rooms to be cleaned. Room was ok, A/C unit is loud, and coffee pot that was provided was dirty. Didn't have enough towels in room either. Indoor swimming pool is nice but pool had too much chlorine in it and made my skin itch after swimming. Hotel has in-house restaurant. Breakfast is best meal for the buffet. Dinner was a disaster, meat was underseasoned, vegetables and pasta tasted watered down and servers were also bus-boys/girls, so service was poor due to servers cleaning off empty tables. Outdoor pool was nice with a Tiki Bar to serve cold drinks. Pool was constantly crowded. Hotel has game room but the video games are broken and only 2 work. Best part about the game room was the pool and air hockey. There is a weight room, machines are old and hard to adujst. Treadmills are ok but if you are into lifting weights, be careful so as not the hurt yourself. Place is nice for a overnight stay but if you want more value for your dollar you can do better.

Get What You Pay For.
By GreggR, 12/25/08
Though this hotel is great for the budget, the old adage you get what you pay for is very true with this hotel. Though the indoor pool area is nice and is family friendly, we had several issues on the first night alone. These included: 1. Waited in line for 50 minutes to check into our rooms upon arrival. The Front Desk had only 1 person on duty despite the fact the hotel was quite busy and it was a holiday. 2. Our room's air conditioning was not working upon check in. The filter was extremely dirty and it took over 1.5 hours and several calls to the front desk for the maintenance person to come look at it. 3. Had to search on 3 floors of the hotel for a working ice machine and for soda machines that would actually accept dollar bills. To me this is a case of the hotel's management again being poorly prepared for a holiday weekend. These items should have been fixed prior to the holiday. 4. Fan in the room's bathroom also did not work at all.

Ok But For People Wanting A Good Night Sleep
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/08/08
We checked into this hotel after leaving another hotel down the street due a bug problem. We were very impressed after checking in with the big room and liked having a window over looking the pool.It seamed really nice. The staff was very nice and allowed us to check in at 7 in the morning. We got the first shuttle to Disney in the morning and returned that night at 9 at night tried and ready for a good night sleep only to hear loud music coming from the pool area.We called down to the front desk and we were told every night from 8-11 they have karaoke. We asked if could change rooms because we were dead tried and wanted to sleep but were told their were no other and most people just request a room away from the pool. We explained this was are 1 visit we didn't know.Final at little after 11 the music stopped and we tried to go to bed only to hear kids running up and down the hallways slamming doors and yelling. We again called the front desk and were told it was band group and their wasn't much they could do about it.We had enough and called the Disney hotel in the middle of the night and changed hotels.Stay at Disney stay away from these cheap places.

We can't wait to go back!!!!
By brandi, 05/04/08
We stay there every time we visit. We cannot imagine ever staying anywhere else. The feeling we get when we walk in the first night is unforgetable. After a long exciting day at the parks we look foward to comming back to the Holtel for dinner, swimming and singing. The end of the night is the best part, the rooms are so clean comfortable and welcoming we are soon off to sleep until tomorrows adventure. Thank You for everything!!!!!!

Awesome girls getaway!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/07
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights last week. The room was clean.Larger than some others in the area. The staff was always helpful.I have a child in a wheelchair so customer service is a must. There was plenty of room for her to get around in the room and bathroom. The shower was a dream for her.Bars all around and a shower seat. She loved the indoor pool with plenty of multi-step entry points. She's a little fish! Our room was next to the atrium. The noise level was 0 after 10P.M.The only thing that bothered us in the halls was the chlorine smell.I couldn't smell it in the room.We will be back in October!!!!
