Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas Lake Buena Vista Orlando, Orlando

We stayed at this resort from June 28-July 5. It was seven people in the two bedroom Lakes section. I must say the location was ideal and th space for seven people was incredible. The rooms look awesome since the renovation. Flat screens TVs in the rooms were an extra bonus. We found the rooms clean and spacious. Since I own at this location, I will definetly stay again. Kudos to the stay you guys were amazing!!!!

The resort was great for our stay. Our party of 6 had plenty of room in our two bedroom unit. Unit was a renovated room and everything was working properly. We made a few requests to staff and things were taken care of immediately (more towels, soap) Property location was great for us to get to Disney Parks and Downtown Disney. WalMart down the street for all our grocery needs and lots of gift shops with tons of stuff to buy all around the resort area. BBQ's on site require charcoal so be sure to stock up if you plan to use the grill. We will be going back as this was a great place for our family!

We purchased a two bedroom at the Lakes section online. We banked the first year as we were unable to use it, then we traded into Sheraton Vistana and piggy backed the current year onto it for a two week stay. We were really impressed at the size and delighted with everything in the apt. Apparently the Lakes section has been totally redecorated and remodeled as it was georgeous. All the appliances were available in the kitchen, washer and dryer were very useful, especially with a two week stay. There were too many activities for us to participate in as we did every other day at Disney and the kids wanted to use the pools during the days we weren't going to the parks. I won't be doing another owners update, as I now know that is basically a waste of time for our family as we will not be purchasing additional weeks (we already own 3 time share weeks a year). If you are staying at Vistana I would advise a car be rented, as the shuttle service to the park could pay for the car rental. You will be within munites of the Disney parks so going back to the room for a mid afternoon nap is a good idea which allows you to have a good evening in the parks without exhausting yourself. The staff was great and check-in went quickly and very smooth. The grounds were beautiful and well tended. We had several relatives visit us during our stay and the security gate worked with us to allow them onto the property with no problems. We can't wait to get back to Vistana in 2010, we have already traded in for the first week and will be booking the second week very soon.

We liked the pool and the food.!! IT WAZ BEAUTIFUL!!! omg tooo expensive though... i'd go back when i have more money!!!

I have been going to Vistana every year, since my parents bought 25 yrs ago! (BTW in 25 yrs, haven't encountered any bed bugs, so ??? to all those reviews). I have watched Vistana grow from a little Mom and Pop vacation spot to a Super Starwoods Sheraton resort. Admittedly, I miss the quiet homey feel of the old Vistana, coming the same week every year, you start making friends and running into the same people - even maintaining penpals! Now that Starwoods took over and Vistana has expanded it lost some of that personal touch. That is the only negative thing I have to say about it. It is still an awesome vactation spot. The location to the parks is perfect, the security is top-notch and there is so much to do there. I have often said you can spend a week at Vistana and you dont even have to go to the parks. Sometimes the kids would rather just "hang" there! I now own at Vistana also, my kids feel the same way I do about it. They look forward to going every year! They play tennis whenever they want (never a wait), go swimming whenever they want (a pool around every corner), mini-golf, basketball, arcade, etc. etc. Vistana even offers organized activities for the kids in different age groups. Now that Vistana offers Starpoint options, I am looking forward to vacationing where ever the kids may want to go and staying a fantastic equivalent places! Atlantis, Bahamas, St. Johns, Europe, etc. But for now, they are super excited every year, exploring Vistana and all it has to offer. I hope to pass the condo down to them one day, when I'm done spoiling my future grandkids there! =)

Our family purchased at Vistana in the early 80s and we've been going back every Thanksgiving week since. We now bring our children's children. It's a family tradition and we wouldn't go anywhere else! We love everything about Vistana. We have looked into exchanging to another destination but can never find anything comparable! If the prices weren't so high now, we would buy more weeks!

We stayed in the Vistana II renovated 2 bedroom WC accessible suite. Very spacious with good doorways for a standard wheelchair. However, there was not a grab bar in sight, nor were the toilets higher than standard. They provided a portable bench for the roll-in shower, but it was very rickety and extremely small. Not at all safe for any size adult. The hand held shower head in the accessible shower was literally held together with a rubber band. Finally, when we returned at night, the sprinklers were aimed for the wheelchair space. You better be fast at your transfers! Don't get me wrong, overall this was a very nice room. Spacious clean and nicely appointed with a full kitchen.Really, a good price to value. If you don't need the grab bars and you can tote your own shower bench it is a great deal. The Vistana folks could make this room a real selling point to the disability community if they would invest in some toilet grab bars and a better shower bench.

My husband and I wanted to get away just the two of us for a couple of days. Our first night was fab. We stayed in St. Augustine,Fl. We then decided to go on road trip and ended up here. We were excited to be alone until we got to our location. The minute we checked in the front desk staff started in on us about some time share. We told them we would think about it but they said, "No you have to sign up now or you don't have another opportunity." Once in our room we noticed the ice maker was broken. Then, once in the tub thinking it was time to unwind and relax ,boy were we wrong!!! The jets wouldn't work! Although we couldn't understand them because noone around here speaks English the walls were very thin and we could hear every move they made up until they finally stopped at around midnight!!! We are trying to be heart healthy and was excited about the place having a work out space until upon walking the path I felt as though I was in a horror movie because the lights along the path kept going out and it made the grounds very dark and irry! I could go on and on but if you want to learn more just sign in at your own risk!!!

THEROOM HAD BEDBUGS AND RODENTS AND THE MANAGEMENT DID NOT CARE. We all went home with bed bug bites and had to throw away our luggage and clothes.We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The bed bugs should be mentioned in the high pressured time sharing sales by charlotte the sheraton time sharing agent at sheraton vistana. Bring an exterminator with you to fumigate the room.

we liked everything about our holiday. the apartments were fantastic, clean spacious and the staff could not do enough for you. towels were changed everyday beds were made and the dishwasher was even switched on for you. the pools and surroundings were very clean and towels were provided for everyone around the pool.the location was good , disney was just 5 mins around the corner in the car. sheraton vistana resort will be getting yearly bookings from us
