Restaurant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/08
I had some friends come up from Naples yesterday to visit and from my recomendation, they choose to stay at your Inn. I had been there before for dinners and thought they would enjoy it....When we arrived at the restaurant there were perhaps eight other diners there and they were all in the same group seated at one table. The other tables were empty. Our meals were terrible to say the least. A rib dinner that was dry and overcooked, some sort of pasta dish that was quite forgetable and I had the fried shrimp dinner which I didn't even bother to attempt to eat. The shrimp were pint sized and looked as if they came from a frozen food container that can be purchased at Sweet Bay or any other grocery store. I was embarrassed for your establishment and myself, after all I did recommend it. This will not be the case next time someone comes to visit and asks where to stay and have dinner. When did your fine restaurant decline so...I guess I should have guessed when I saw the lack of other diners there. Too bad.

Quality Inn US 19 New Port Richey Fl
By Sue D, 10/28/07
Stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. Bowling tournament was going on. Reserved 2 beds smoking but when we checked in they said the got the reservation as non smoking. They offered a non smoking room but that was not acceptable. Asked for upgrade to poolside which cost $10 extra a night and they said fine at no extra cost. Got king bed with rollaway poolside. Everyone was nice and our stay was great. Bowlers had Lua(sp)7-10 pm one evening so we didnt go in pool or hot tub but were told we were allowed. A little awkward but no big deal. Room was pleasant, clean and spacious. Small fridge, closet, iron and ironing board, 25" TV with Hbo free coffe maker with coffee and hair dryer. Bar and resteraunt were both nice. CVS and Mcdonalds within walking distance. Free coffee, tea and internet in lobby was great. Whirlpool was wonderful. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Right on Hwy 19 but didnt hear and noise. Room service was available for a small fee. Didnt use housekeeping but they gave us everything we needed any time we asked. This is our new favorite hotel. Very pleasant staff and experience. Lots of place to eat and shop locally.

A little pricey.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/07
It really wasn't an awful experience, BUT, please wear shower sandals. The tub needs bleach. And a roach jumped on my right arm while I was in bed with the lights off, which I ended up sleeping with the lights on because I got paranoid of roaches and had a bad night. The rooms look nice a smell nice, but underneath it all, it really is not that clean and a bit pricey.

Housekeeping
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/06
We were there over Christmas and NO housekeeping was offered, yet we had to pay regular full price. I thought if we didn't get beds changed and fresh towels, plus waste cans emptied, we should be entitled to a discount of some sort. I asked for one, but was not given anything. The best I was told was that "there was a note on the desk that there would be no housekeeping on Christmas." However, we checked in two days earlier and never went back near the front desk and didn't see such a note.

No Quality Here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/06
I walked into the room it was damp and smelled. Yes it was a smoking room but I have been many rooms that were smoking but this was the pits. The bathroom keep running. I did not feel comfortable at all in the room since I am traveling alone for work. I stayed only one night. I opted to drive and hour and a half each way to my job then stay there.

I travel to this area regularly and am aware of no hotel or motel I would consider good. So far, this slightly below average place is the best I've found. The worst thing about it is the smell of mildew, which I have experienced in all of the motels in this area. At this hotel, it is far worse on the first floor. Take a 2nd floor room. It's true about the pillows...they are that foam stuff; very uncomfortable. The pool is a nice place to start the day.

You won't be disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/05
Try and get a poolside room, it's definately worth it. The pool and area is very nice to relax in.Also, take a breakfast in the restaurant! Good food for a reasonable price, and the waitress actually smiles. There is also a bar right inside the hotel, watch out for the live music though, it may spoil your beer. You are right next downtown New Port Richey and a beach is less than 2 miles away. One of the best hotels we have found in this area.

Ugh
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/05
If you are searching for a comfortable, quiet and clean little getaway, this is not the place! The room was so damp that the mildew odor from the carpet and the mildew in the bedding was horrible. We went out and purchased our own pillows to try to sleep. That was not easy because both nights there were people knocking on our door (kids one night, inebriate the next). After killing roaches in the room, we didn't dare try the restaurant.
