Sea View Bal Harbour Hotel, Bal Harbour

This was an older hotel in Bal Harbour. After reading many reviews on travel sites such as tripadvisor and yahoo I decided to give this hotel a shot. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was large and clean as well. Had a decent view of the pool and beach. The location was great, only a 15 - 20 minute drive to South Beach or North to the malls and restaurants. We did not use the the pool or the beach. Instead we headed to South Beach and Haulover which is only 2 miles north of the hotel. The pool was dead as was the beach so i would suggest renting a car and driving to the surrounding beaches. If you rent a car, they charge $13 a day for parking. If you can avoid Valet, do it, they let you self park and you can get save on tipping everytime you need your car. The only room service we had was breakfast. It was decent. Nothing out of the ordinary and expensive as all hotels are when it comes to room service. In summary this is a great location to get to Miami or Fort Lauderdale. The price is very reasonable for the area and the rooms are clean and large. Would reccomend it but would probably look at other properties when I return.

After reading some reviews I was getting nervous but It was wonderful! Our room was 130.00 a night for 2 double beds and a roll away. We had a balcony,and chocolates on our pillows everynight! Internet was free, Pool open all night, Private ocean with free chairs was great! Everyone that works there was super nice! Downfalls: You do have to bring your own coffemaker, and it cost 50 cents toll everytime you leave and come back to Bal Harbor. Chairs cost extra but we just sat on our towels by the pool. Overall we had a great time!

Wonderful location on the ocean in Bar Harbour with a beautiful pool and accommodations. The staff was helpful and the food available was good.

I loved my stay at the Seaview in May 2005. It is right on a quiet section of beach away from the hustle and bustle of downtown South Beach but close enough to visit it everyday. It was a peaceful retreat after a long night out at club Space. Im young enough to pull an all nighter but too old to deal with the college crowd. The Seaview is in an excellent location, both beautiful and functional.

We enjoyed out stay at the Sea View and were incredibly sad to have to leave! Excellent service, kind staff, beautiful location, clean, gorgeous room!
