Overpriced, Raggedy, but close to the beach
First off it is close to the beach And if that's all you care about then this hotel is great. BUT if you are expecting a clean room and great service you better think twice.
My room had a chair with torn upholstery, A down comforter with down missing , A comforter with a big yellow stain on it, markings on the lamp shade, dirty carpet, scratched and worn desk chairs and table.
My room had what one might call a terrace that overlooked the beach. This was nice.. However the terrace was only wide enough to stand on but not wide enough for a chair.
On several occasions the key card did not work.
There is a new section and an old section of the hotel . I got the old section and paid ( After taxes and resort fees, which were required) over 200 a night. Mind you I am not a picky traveler but this was a 80 dollar hotel that was charging 200 bucks because of its location to the beach. Keep in mind that this is a public beach.
There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas that the hotel guest have access to ,but no one checked that we were guest of the hotel so anyone could have requested the chairs.
The hotel does have a small pool, actually two small pools on different levels but it does not have a hottub. There is a bar located by the pool as well as inside bar. There is a restaurant in the hotel.
The only parking available at the hotel is Valet parking which is 40 dollars a night.
I stayed at this hotel for a family reunion and according to other family membersI got one of the better rooms Other people had mattresses where you could feel the springs, One person had a room where you could hear the toilet rumbling all night. Not all rooms had terraces. And rooms were not always cleaned in a timely manner. Sometimes rooms were not cleaned until 2 or 3 pm
Though on a good note I will say that all of the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. It's just that the hotell is way overpriced.
