Fort Lauderdale Beach Palace, Fort Lauderdale

We called to let hotel know we were running late, desk clerk cancelled out reservations after advising room would be held 24hrs. Once we arrived, there was just one room available. The room was dirty, curtains torn, beds appeared not to have been changed since the last guests, the door to the adjourning room kept opening (we used a chair to keep it closed), there was a piece of plastic with 4 screws covering a large opening in the bathroom and the rug was disgusting and forget the safe it had been destroyed sometime ago. We actually got throws from our car to sleep on. We were to stay two nights but no thank you we left the next morning. We did not eat their free breakfast since the room it was served in looked as bad as our room. Advice to the wise do walk away from this place RUN.

unbeliveable!!!smelly rooms,had 2 ask for room to be cleaned after second day.at least 5 blocks from the beach as you cant cut through condos across the street.No frig ,microwave of coffee maker.Deluxe cont.b'fast was donuts,cereal and spoiled milk.When one customer told the waitress the milk was bad she said "I dont have time to deal with it".Another customer found a purse with $ and credit cards and the front desk would not call police or look up # handed phone book to patron.NEVER NEVER NEVER again.Have never seen anything like it and never want to see anything like it again.Drive right by(fast)

I live in Georgia, but I travel to Ft. Lauderdale once a mth on business. This past weekend I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful establishment. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were spotless with a cleaning crew that was outstanding. They were very polite and were never in the way. The food in the on-site restaurant was amazing, but not only that it was affordable. You are literally 20 yards from the ocean and if you don't feel like walking to the ocean, you can relax poolside and enjoy a nice refreshing cocktail from the Tiki Bar that is located right next to the pool. This place is absolutely fantastic and I recommend if you are visiting Ft. Lauderdale that you look no further because this is the place to stay. I know I will.

You get what you pay for. The desk clerk said the beach was right across the street. Well, it was right across the street, but he neglected to tell me you can't get to it because of the condominiums with private access to the beach. You have to walk a half a mile to get there. The room, elevator, halls, etc.. smelled. Stay else ware.

The hotel is located in a great location. Serves great food and has a nice indoor bar as well as a outdoor bar. This hotel serves continal breakfast and has a computer is you didn't bring your own. Nice pool area beside the outside bar.

I travel a few times a year,and I have never stayed in a dump like this before,looking at the hotel online,I was fooled by what I saw.it was just a one night stay,My husband and I,along with our7yr old daughter, we were on our way to disney world,and decided to stop in fort lauderdale over night,I wanted to turn around the minute I saw this place,the restaurants were filty,the lady at the bar,while serving us food,had a white towel around her neck,started wringing the sweat ,or water and sweat whatever it was while serving us food.it was disgusting,the smell of the room was horrible,it smelt like wet carpet,we could hardly breath.we open the slidind door,and was able to catch a breath of fresh air.the sliding door was about to fall off,the towel in the bath room was as though they were starched,I can go on,I would never ever stay at this hotel again.

This place was the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! The hotel is filthy, smelly and nasty. The big surprise in the room was mold all over the wall.Their offer back to us, was a "clean" room with no toilet. Don't waste you money.

It was a very nice hotel very clean the people were friendly and the rooms were very wellso i would give this hotel a 10 its one of the best hotels for that price of 50 dollars a night and its also in a great location i recomend this hotel to everyone.

this hotel was great i went there with two of my girlfriends and we had a blast. the pool was great and the beach was close. staff is very nice there. i would sure like to visit soon!

The room reflected the price. It could have been better but could also been much worse. The staff was good and the resturant, bar and pool very convienent.
