Tired and ready to go home

I wasn't very impressed with my one night stay at the Golden Glads Inn. I was definitely expecting a much nicer experience. I felt like I was staying in a college dorm but it wasn't even that nice. The man at the front desk was very under trained and very unhelpful. My family and I reserved three rooms several months in advance and wanted rooms next to each other especially since one person was handicapped. We did not receive that and one room was on a different floor. Unfortunately that was my room and some kids staying in the same hotel let off the fire alarm, which in turn went off for over an hour. When I called the front desk to see what was going on they were very rude and hung up on me twice. Never once did we get an apology for our inconvenience, instead they talked to me like it was my fault the alarm was going off in the first place. Needless to say, I finally fell asleep at 2:00AM and had to be up at 4:00AM to catch an early flight. I wasn't to upset about leaving at 4:00AM because the sooner the better. To top the whole bad experience off I left my cell phone in the room and I've called sveral time to see if they will send it to me C.O.D. and they keep telling me to call back after they check to see if they found it. I am 100% sure I left it in their, that tells me a lot about the people they put trust in working their. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel does not deserve the three stars it has.
