I loved the hotel. Clean, polite staff, great free breakfest. Everything that was promised was delivered. I have stayed there before, and i would definitily recommend the hotel. For the price, and location, it is worth every cent!!

wrong picture

the picture on this site is the Holiday Inn Express and not the Best Western. The property might be old, but with the changes they are making improvements.

This place is a Joke

I don't know where to begin, but lie after lie, shuttle sevice was terrible, after they told us they would pick us up at the Bank Atlantic Center after a Panthers game, only to discover the shuttle driver has gone home. Then the front desk hangs up on me when I asked if they would call us a taxi. Unbelievable...where did she think I was going? Room service was awful, musty rooms. Prepare to pay $16 U.S. each way to go anywhere by taxi. (Unless you can get shuttle service!! Good Luck) All I can say is NEVER again.

I would not go back there after two times trying it

I liked the fact that it was close to our friends that we were visiting. I disliked the parking, the pool, the room, the room service. Parking was terrible you have to park so far away from your room and we had alot of stuff to carry, the rooms were ok but could have been a little more cleaner, there was a snake in the storage room that kept my daughter scared to come out, even though it was just a black snake still scared her. The pool is small and it was overcrowded both times we were there. Room service took forever to bring us extra towels and our room was not made up everyday. I made the beds. Say good-bye to this "Good Buy".

I don't have time to list all the details and incidents that occurred over my 8 day stay. Suffice it to say that I no longer look at Holiday Inn as a mark of quality or excellence. This plus another awful one in Winchester VA, have convinced me to look to any other brand as a first choice.
