We have been going to Vero Beach on vacation for many years, and continued to stay at the Holiday in for it's convience, however it has gotten so run down. It was dirty, it smelled, and the door couldn't be open, because the roof on the patio was ready to cave in. We cut our stay short went just down the ocean to another hotel, that was just beautiful. It was like going from hell to heaven, and the cost was actually about $50.00 less a night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
 
 
 
 
 
Found it very relaxing....did not need to drive.

I ran to this hotel after spending one night at the rundown Holiday Inn Express by hwy 95. The staff understood my needs and even gave me a 10am check-in...my room was so clean and fresh I did not even know it was a smoking room...staff was very accomodating....pool refreshing and sitting in the restaurant drinking a beer while gazing at the sea was very relaxing. We certainly will go back

We loved the location, right on the beach! We found the staff to be very courteous and accomodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The adjoining restaurant had excellent breakfast, most notably the omelets. Shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. My only complaint would be about the pool. The water was too warm for July - we were told the pool heater was still on! Also, the pool needed cleaning. However, we did come for the beach so the pool was not our priority. We are looking forward to our next trip there.

Back to Vero, but not Holiday Inn Oceanside

It was the only place we could get in on a busy weekend and the price was just short of gouging..$200 for a parking lot room that wasn't very clean. The staff was very unaccomodating and just plain rude, from the managers down to the desk clerk. I would go back to Vero Beach but never again go to the Holiday Inn Oceanside.
