Fantasy World Resort - A Two Bedroom Suite Water Park Resort, Kissimmee

I have never felt more compelled to go out of my way to warn someone about a resort/hotel. We have a timeshare and arrived on a Friday, and left that same Friday. When we arrived we noticed the room was not clean, there were smudges on the window, the bathtub was dirty. I will say one thing, the dishes and kitchen seemed very nice. We were willing to overlook the dirty room and the greenish looking pool, but what happened later caused us to squeal our tires out of that place. We ordered pizza and while we were eating, i had chained the door out of some sort of OCD, luckily i had because apparently our card reader did not work and someone tried to BREAK IN, they shoved the door, HARD, and when they noticed the unit had people in it and the chain was on they left the door ajar (with the chain) and ran. I have NEVER experienced anything like that, we called maintenance about the lock and they sent a man over who said it "looked good to him" and that it "was probably a maid". WHY WOULD A MAID SHOVE A DOOR THAT HARD AND RUN?! We contacted our timeshare organization and booked ANYwhere but there, we didn't care that it was a smaller unit at another resort we changed into. While we were packing our car back up we noticed the lock not working intermittently. PLEASE do NOT go here!

We could not of stayed at a better place there was 16 of us in 4 town houses, the houses were lovely, clean and spacious, we were with children ranging from 3 to 14 and all were catered for the kids especally loved the heated swimming pool which is open to 12pm, the outside play area and the activity room. There is also a water bomb game by the pool which is great fun especially if you like getting wet , the hot spa was lovely, cleaners even came and cleaned the house after 7 days for free, the staff are very friendly and efficient, they even have free complimentary tea & coffee in the lounge and the location is excellant as is in walking distance to a supermarket and lots of places to eat and only about 20 min away from disney itself by car. towels are provided for all family, happy hours in the bar. The shuttle service is very easy to use they have 2 trips in am to disney and 1 in am to sea world daily Would deffinately recommend this place to anyone for all ages and will definately stay here again.

The experience at the resort was best. We recommend this resort for anyone.we had our girls with us 16 and 19 there first time in Florida they did not want to leave best choice we ever made we were overly pleased with the resort.well worth the time and the money can't wait to go back we have no complaints you will love it. very clean lots of room nice area close to everything you want.

We didn't actually stayed on this property while visiting Disney parks, so this is just based on what we saw while taken to the "90 minute tour" on Time share ownership. People at the front desk, at which all the resort guests were also attended, were not friendly to say the least. There were a few women at the counter, but they all had a bit of an attitude toward whoever they were servicing, such as "Why can't this guy get it?" As for the facility itself, we looked at two types of units; a town house style, 2-story unit; and one-floor style with lock-off unit option. The first one looked like a project home from the outside. Reading some of the bad revies here sure confirm the quality (or lack of) as well. The second unit that had a lock-off option was slightly better as a vacation property, but not for what they were asking for. Over all, it was just not the type of facility we want spend our money on for us. Adding to the bad experience, our sales rep was extremely unprofessional. She lost her temper at us twice during her presentation. She was ery pushy,and didn't understand that a "decision" could be "yes" or "no." I believe she is a real estate agent working for the company that manages the resort (See paragraph below). The Owner/Developer of this facility is called Kosmas Group International, and is listed B- on the BBB rating. But, it is also listed under a business called "Cape Canaveral Cruise Line Tour & Travel Inc.," and listed D- on the BBB. Even if the facility itself was marginal, I would hate to become an owner of a facility that had such a low level of customer service. It would also hate to invite family and friends to use this facility because of that.

We stayed from Oct 28 to Nov.5th 2008 and booked through AirTrans Airlines. We got our room for $96 a night!! Resort was clean, friendly, close to many restaurants, cable TV in every room. Kids loved the heated pool and small game room. The only concern we had was the resort uses un-regulated taxi service which didn't pick us up at the airport. The resort offers a free shuttle to Disney but the shuttle would only pick you up either before the park closed (6:15pm) or before the fireworks shows (8:45pm).Plus the shuttle only picked up and dropped off at Epcot. So we did alot of traveling between parks. We needed to use a Taxi service (which was easy to find) back to the resort but cost $30.

It was more than I expected. There were some bad reviews but I decided to try it anyway. The saff were very helpful and tried hard to accomodate our requests. I asked for an updated condo and it was really great. It was so nice to be able to spread out and even be in different rooms, watching different shows. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. We ended up not using all the towels and disposable items. The place was very clean. The washer and dryer was great - they even gave us soap and dryer sheets. The pools were great, we got to swim in two of them. The place is kind of set-back from the main road so it was quite but very close to everything. Would definitely recommend it, espeically for the price!!

JUNE 2 THUU THE 16 2008,JUST GOT BACK FROM OUR TWO WEEK VACATION AND THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. AFTER BOOKING FIRST AT SUITES OF OLD TOWN (THAT A NO NO )ALL SIX OF US MOVE THE SAME DAY WE GOT THERE TO FANTASYWORLD WHICH WAS GREAT NEAR THE POOL AND THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT ESPECIALLY ISSAC,SO A BIG HELLO FROM PUERTO RICO TO HIM.AND THANKS FOR THE GRAT SERVICE...LUIS GONZALEZ PUERTO RICO.

Stayed for one week with wife, daughter, and mother-in-law in May of 2008. The other reviews are all on point. Staff, location, and villa were all great. The price was unbelievable at $83 a night. Shuttle service seemed pretty limited to the parks so we rented a car. Two bedrooms, full kitchen, living room, and screened in porch provided plenty of room and privacy. Pool and hot tub were both very nice and the bar was a plus. As long as you don't mind taking out your own trash and not having your bed made this is the place for you.

My wife and I found fantasy villas when we booked a trip online,we stayed march 21st thru the 28th.The place is a great value,no it is not 5 star resort and it is a little older than some but you cant beat the location.The villas are far enough away from all the disney parks that you can relax but still only 10 minute drive from the front gates.Are villa was very clean and comfy and sooo much nicer than a hotel stay,it feels like you rented and apartment or stayed in someones home.The pool was great and the bar rocks.We will return and take some family along(great stay).

I booked our stay on the internet and was extremely happy with the accomodations. At first glance, I was a little nervous but once I saw the Villa, we were happy. The staff was very friendly and heplful at check in and our bartender, John, was great. Excellent Pina Coladas! The pool was clean and nice temperature. We ca't wait to go back!
