Days Inn Lakeside, Orlando

we loved the pool and the bar evey body was so kind and realy enjoyed eveything that the hotel had to offer.

First stayed in 1991 and I have returned almost every year since. The location and price are the best in the area. Changed rooms once with no problem. Survived a hurricane here once with no problems. They cover the card slots so that they will not get wet then they dont work. You sometimes have to ask for the lock to the safe. Breakfast was not the best but was ok. Lots of food and 7-11 within walking distance. Prices have remaind reasonable since 1991 when we first found this place. Change was removed from nightstand and they thought it was a tip but issue was promptly resolved. All in all you get what you pay for. A place to sleep and shower, I dont know about you but I didnt go to Florida to hang out in the hotel. Tiki bar is great addition. Gift shop and game room a plus for teens. Going back this year too

i loved staying here on our honeymoon!! it was the best place we have ever been,so now we r bringing the kids...so watch out orlando.....here we come!!!

Went Here during my senior trip in 1999. The breakfast was horrible we ended up going someplace else to get our food in the morning.

My fiance and I stayed here in july 2002 and we were totally disgusted with this horrendous place. The hotel staff were as useful as and astray on a motorbike. The room was the worst room i have ever stayed in, it was dirty, and smelly. The hallways were all basically pitch black so i wouldnt advise walking around this place on your own, although i wouldnt advise staying here at all, infact i would definately avoid at all costs. Lucky for my fiance and I we only had to endure it for 1 night. The next morninng we were moved to a much more pleasant hotel. Even when we mentioned it to our holiday rep he recommended a move straight away, cause even he knew the reputation the place had. Please dont ruin your holiday by going here.

Filthy, Filthy Filthy!!!!! This place was the dumps. It was scary when we pulled up at night and it was no better in the daylight. Our first room had ants coming out of the sink, only one light bulb, no a/c and was dirty beyond belief. The carpet actually squished when you walked - horrible. I was travelling with 3 teenage daughters and did not feel safe in this hotel. I contacted Orbitz to complain but got no where. Believe me if I could of gotten out of this place I would have. The staff at the front desk tried to be helpful but there was no saving this place. It is totally misrepresented by its pictures on the internet. We waited a long time to get to Orlando and this place almost ruined the entire trip. Thank God we weren't there too long. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!

This place was filthy. It smelled like cat urine and stale cigarette smoke. Really really bad place to stay. The only redeeming quality about the place was the shuttle to Universal and the proximity to Universal.

I was so excited for my first trip to Orlando but that all changed once we pulled into the parking of this "Motel". Immediately we went hunting for another place and ended up staying at Best Western Movieland. We only had to stay 1 night here..THANKFULLY! Even the cab driver had heard about how bad this place was. We didn't even get a key for our room until 6 hours after we checked in. When it rains, the staff has to cover all the card slots in the doors. The beach is covered with fire ants. Terrible experience that almost ruined our entire trip. There are other value hotels out there that are way better than this dump.

Location is great service is quick if we have a problem it is taken care of quickly without questions good breakfast spacious heated swimming pools good parking spot and I have seen cop sit at parking and great price

The bathroom was so old and did not seem very clean. Luckily I was there for only one night. I will never stay there again.
