Disappointing!

I am a frequent business traveller and this hotel does not stack up the competition very well. They are in the process of a remodel which isn't very appealing to me since I am currently staying here. Anyway, I divert...when I checked in, they were very friendly, but they sent me on a wild goose chase. They sent me to someone else's room (they gave me the wrong number) TWICE!!! The distance to get to the room was so far, I didn't have to go work out yesterday! When a fourth check-in person (there were 2 check-in castmates and a manager, before the third check-in castmate - yes, this is Disney, and castmate is their word for employee) realized the three others had sent me to another person's room...our last names are very much different. When I finally got to my room about two hours later, the disappointment continued. The room's lighting, air conditioning (this is Florida in the summertime), and cleanliness are not 4-Star (maybe 2-Star) quality. The lighting is poor - I like bright lighting; the air conditioning is noisy and is not working (they are supposed to come later to fix it); and there is dust, greasy finger prints, and stains on the bedding. I would like to change rooms, but they told me I would have to vacate this current one and eventually (after 3:00pm - I called at 9:00am) would find me another room, but they're not sure where it will be. From my guess, things can only get worse! So, I decided to live with what I have. As for a positive note, the staff at the Councourse Steakhouse (restaurant in the hotel) is excellent! Kim A was my server and she was great! If you like steak, the Buffalo Filet is excellent. I just wish the rest of the hotel was like this restaurant...
