Executive Inn, Clearwater

We found this hotel to be very nice. The service was great, the staff very friendly, and the establishment extremely clean. I had read reviews on this hotel pertained to it while a Comfort Inn and was concerned. But now that it is a Executive Inn things have changed. We had a lovely pool side room and found it to be very relaxing. If I were to have anything negative to report, it would be about the breakfast, and my only complaint there was that the orange juice was not juice, possibly Sunny Delight, or some other watered down orange drink. The apple juice needed refilling, and when mentioned to the hostess was never taken care of. Not sure she understood or could speak English. Overall a very nice visit. Most certainly will stay again if in the area.

if you want extremely rude service, this is the place to go. dirty hotel. poor customer service. worst vacation ever... every time I contacted Manager, they were rude. They would not help us or deal with us.

This place is so unfriendly!! I checked in to the hotel things seemed to be very nive untill i got to my room. The air was running but it was about 85 in my room. So I tried to call the front desk and the phone didnt work. Well after going back downstairs to talk to the unfriendly staff and manager, I told them I was needing to move to a room that atleast the air worked and the phone too. I was told we will see if we can move you after 15 mins of waiting she tells me she dont have another room to move me too Id hae to deal with it.. asa she was talking to me and me getting heated by the min the manager sit in the side room making jokes about me and the other lady with the same problem, and when i asked him out loud if he had a problem he told me that he wasnt able to talk to angry people...well as i went back up to call CHOICE HOTELS I was going to use the so called FREE internet to find me another room well it didnt work eithr by the time i was boiling I packed my things and went back dowstairs and was going to check out and she said she couldnt give me a refund. but for only one night and so I lost a 55 dollars for nothing... DONT STAY HERE go across the street to Sleep Inn ALOT NICER and friendlier.

This and other websites for this Comfort Inn offer free airport shuttle and mention Tampa International Airport. However, when I arrived at Tampa Airport and telephoned the Comfort Inn, I was told the shuttle was for Clearwater Airport which was not mentioned on many of the websites. I had to pay for transportation to and from the airport. A month after reporting this to this Comfort Inn and Choice Hotels, the websites continue to include this misleading information.

We left the Days Inn on Gulf to Bay Rd due to a bad experience and the staff and rooms could not have been any better. Thank you for everything. If ever in the area again I would definetly stay here. Also, great pool area and good continental breakfast

This is a traveler's motel, well situated to the local airport, but a bit far from downtown St. Petersburg. Easy access from main roads, decent parking. Good access to dining, although on a fairly busy road. Room was good, firm bed. Pretty standard continental breakfast, very clean and well stocked, sort of a small dining area. Staff was polite, helpful, not too intrusive. Free local paper, nice pool and spa. Reasonably priced for the area. Would stay there again for 1-2 nights, probably would not for longer duration stays.
