Knights Inn Arcadia, Arcadia

This place has change alot! new management, quiet and clean and don't let the area fool you.. just hard working folk around, everyone just has a wrong presumption and not giving the place a chance.. I stay here often all year and never a problem.

WELL, I STAYED AT THIS PLACE DUE TO OUR WORK..WE WERE A LITTLE LOUD AT TIMES BUT, THE HOTEL PRE-AUTHORIZED MY CREDIT CARD AND IN WAS OVER $900.00 AND I COUND NOT USE MY CARD ANYWHERE ELSE. SO WHEN I WENT AND GOT GAS, IT SAID DECLINED. THERE WERE SOME NICE AND HELPFUL DESK AGENTS THAT WERE THERE, BUT THERE WAS A LADY MANAGER AND SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND SHE SAID IT HAS TO BE DONE..WELL I UNDERSTAND IF WE DID NOT SHOW BUT SHE SHOULD HAVE ONLY PRE-AUTHORIZED MY CARD FOR ONE NIGHT. THEN WE PAID DAILY. I ALSO FELL THAT THE MANAGER DOES NOT COMMITACATE WITH HER EMPLOYEE'S. I TALKED TO 2 DESK AGENTS AND THEY WERE VERY NICE. IF YOU CALL TALK TO VICKY OR I THINK ALYSHA, AND ANA. I SEEMS TO ME THEY WOULD NOT HAVE THIS LADY FOR A MANAGER. THE WAY SHE SPEAKS TO THE CUSTOMERS IS UNCALLED FOR. THE LOOKS AND CLEANLINESS IS REALLY GOOD. THE HOUSEKEEPERS DO AN WONDERFUL JOB, THEY MAKE THIS HOTEL.I WOULD LOVE TO THANK THEM FOR OUR WOULDFUL STAY. TILL THE MANAGER KICKED US OUT, BECAUSE WE WERE PAYING DAILY. OUR WIVES AND FAMILY WAS STAYING ON THAT WEEKEND AND WE WAS GOING TO PAY WHEN WE GOT BACK FROM WORK.

Completely true what the other two travelers said. Horrible area. My friends at the Fire Dept said it was definetly NOT a place for a female to stay alone. I packed up and left the same day i checked in. Of course they charged me a night... Homeless people, shady, and etc... all around.

My husband and I had reservations for two nights here while we went canoeing and fossil hunting in the Peace River. Needless to say we only spent one night here and chose to leave after our canoe trip and make the three hour drive home rather than stay here another night! The area where this hotel is located is horrible! There are extremely undesirable characters hanging around outside the hotel and constantly riding their bikes and walking around the property. Even some of the other guests had their hotel doors open and were looking a little shady. I have traveled a lot in my lifetime and this was the first place I actully considered not staying, and probably would have left but my credit card had already been charged for the night. I do want to mention that the inside of our room was clean and up to Best Western standards, however, the outside of the property has obviously fallen victim to the people around it. Some security would also be a plus for this place, as this might help with loitering. We will never stay here again and I would advise anyone who is considering this hotel to please reconsider.

I was so shocked at the area where this motel-hotel was located that I was shaking to find another hotel. The area is supposed to be one of the worst areas in Arcadia and surly you can see it just by driving through It In the day time. Never in my whole life time have I see such a dirty place even the outside of the hotel-motel was filty. Please if your use to being in areas like this then ok but if your not like rest of us Please stay out of that area. They were however nice to give our deposit back, we just explained where this hotel was located and what we saw and agreed to refund our money for the deposit.
