Great Place To Stay Outside Wilmington
By Curley Sue, 10/24/08
Clean, friendly atmosphere and budget friendly! Definitly a great place to stay outside the city limits of dirty Wilmington.

Cool place

The rooms are not the biggest or the best but the price is pretty reasonable for that area. The parking free unlike some in the area. The complimentary breakfast is the plus.

It was disgusting. Avoid this place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/07
The room was not especially clean then we noticed that the sheets had not been changed on one of the beds. When we called the desk about this we were moved to another room, again not all that clean. We were finally settled in and found the bathroom floor covered with ants. This happened about 11:00 We called again and had to move this up time to the upper (walk up) floor. Finally got to sleep until a disturbance in the parking lot woke us up at 3:00 it went on for a while and when we called the desk we were told that we should call the police if it was bothering up. The worst part was in the morning when we went to check out and expected at least an apology the manager was unfazed so I guess this is the norm for this facility.

You avage MOTEL.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/07
The Days Inn is your average motel. I stayed two days and i got just what i expected from a MOTEL, not a HOTEL. Yes the doors open up to the outside, it's a MOTEL. My room was clean, didn't have any odors or anything else unclean about it. The front desk was nice enough to let me check in 3 hours before check in time, which was great. The only thing i did not like was, although they say 24 hour service, when i went to the front to check out at 2:30 am, the place was dark, the doors where locked and no one could be seen. So i left my key in my room. The t.v. had a lot of station, continental b'fast was very simple, but there are so many resturants up and down rt 202 (dunkin dounghts, diners, mc d's),the soda machines seem kind of old, but they work, and the ice machine...you have to insert your key card to get ice. And the location is ok, pleanty of shopping, resturants, at least two grocery stores. Two things, 1. you need a car in the area and 2. the street has a divider diving north and south so you have to go a ways to lights where you can U-turn to get to whatever side of the street. Great place for a stop over just to sleep, shower and get back on the road again or if you just need a quick cheap room.

Days Inn Willington, Del
By Graces Dad, 07/06/06
The hotel was dirty, they did not like being in the hotel industry. Their beakfast was very poor. There were 2 days in a row that they did not clean the room and make the beds. The 2nd days I ask head nof house keeping to please take care of the room, I get back at midnight and there is a do not disturb sign up and no clean room.
