Choice member has no privileges
By David, 2/26/12
Front desk lady for second time would not honor the choice privileges late check out. She was rude. Other front desk staff always do. I am a choice member and that is the best privilege of it. Said a lot of people coming in today. Right, on Feb 26, a Sunday, at Rehoboth Beach, De, route 1. Don't buy it.

STAYED HERE 2 TIMES THERE ARE PROS AND CONS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/10
SUMMER 2009 We stayed in a cheaper hotel on the right hand side.No microwave, refrigarator, hair dryer, private balcony, not even a clock ! Was so disappointed with room. The room was dirty, the floor was disgusting I would not dare to walk on it barefooted, furniture was not dusted, sheets had cigerette burn holes, top blanket was rough to the skin, bathroom door seem to look like it had a large splatted blood stain on the front,Free cont. breakfast was donuts with flies flying around,Our room was located next to the snack machine and laundry room...we heard people all night being loud and woke up due to the maids talking extremely loud doing their laundry..we passed on staying in the room for another night and we ate at cracker barrel. SUMMER 2010 We stayed in the most expensive and best room they had.our room had 5 sinks, 2 full baths,2 tvs,2 private balconies, microwave ..still no clock luckly the microwave had the time on it, 2 small refrigarators, 2 fullbeds and one king bed. The beds are old and springy, bird poop galore on both balconies, top blanket was same as last years & rough to the skin, one of the whirl pool jets had brown slime, did not windex the mirrors...who ever stayed there b4 us wrote with their finger and left messages on the mirror when it got steamy you could see it, mirror in the king size bedroom was smeary, The king bed was old too but not as spingy as the 2 fullbeds, when out on blancony (with my kids) the people directly under us were loud/ghetto & smoking weed...we could not enjoy the blacony when they were out, We did NOT hear any noises at night nor in the morning. We rather not have the maid come into our room when we are not there...we were comming back & maid was in other room next 2 us we needed 2 towels. I told my child to get 2 towels she came out with and attitude written all over her face because my son was in the process of reaching for a towel. She said with an attitude and if looks could kill "Is there anything else you need ?!" Yup and our family is so nice, we cleaned up after ourselves when we left, the maids only had to clean our room once on check out day & we even still left them a tip after being treated rude from one maid.Ghetto/lower class people stay in the cheaper rated rooms & come in tribes a& hang at the pool early in the morning & late at night & stare at you, The furniture WAS dusted this time, free donuts still had flies flying around them like last year, people at the front desk were not mean nor friendly...they were basically just there to do there job .They were not out of line or working extra hard to impress/welcoming you.NICE size pool up to 6ft. Offers towels at the pool, elevator and hallway felt like they had the heat on and not the AC...it was extremely hot.To get inside the building you need your room key ...but for some odd reason that was not working all doors were UNlocked anyone was allowed to walk into the buliding...not good security. We stay at this hotel only because it is close to Cracker Barrel and Tanger Outlets. We will come & stay again...ONLY in the higer priced rooms. What you pay for is what you get. We are considering staying somewhere else nearby next year.

Comfortable, clean and affordable.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/10/09
After reading some of the reviews posted online I hesitated to book at this hotel but couldn't see spending extra $ for another no frills hotel. Upon my arrival, I was pleasently surprised to find a nice spacious clean room with plenty of fresh towels and friendly people behind the front desk. (Not the monsterous bugs and towels that smelled bad like I was led to believe.) There were a few minor problems, some peeling paint above the balcony door, hair dryer didn't work (but I had my own along), and the light above the night stand didn't work....but I didn't bother calling about any of these issues because for the amount of time I spent in the room I didn't really care. I was here for the beach and shopping both of which were close by. Where else can you practically walk out of the hotel lobby and right into a Cracker Barrel? It's not the Ritz but I would stay here again for the price.

Roaches, bugs, yuck!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/5/08
This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Our room looked dirt: not vacuimed, stains on bedspread, soiled carpet. I switched on the light in the bathroom and saw cockroaches scatter. Complained to the front desk and they gave me a can of raid. We spelt wiht our beach towels over the pillows as the sheets didn't look clean. We had a horrible experience and will never stay at this hotel again. Manager didn't seem to care about our complaints. We paid way too much to have such an awful room.

only place in stay st rehoboth,de
By judith eileen, 5/14/06
best value for the money in rehoboth,de[other locations may not apply]. i have stayed in varies single rooms and in the suites==all are clean-quiet=confortable. the staff is very friendly and efficient. the only boring thing is the breakfast-maybe because i go there so often. but the food is fresh and there is coffee for those who drink it at any time of the day - all day long.

Extremely disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/05
This was our first stay at this hotel. The location was excellent for shopping, and the price was right, but we were extremely disappointed with our stay and will not stay here ever again. The room was never vacuumed before our during our stay. There was an ant problem, especially in our bathroom. Mirrors were dirty. We were never given enough towels and wash cloths (not even 1 per person), and had to go to the office each day for towels and toilet paper. The smoke detector was hanging by the wires out of the wall. The drapes were falling off of the rods.

Will never stay there again!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/16/05
This was the worse over priced hotel I ever stayed in at Rehoboth beach. The room had an odor, the beds were uncomfortable and squeeky and the comforters and blankets had stains that would have you thinking. I had to reclean the bathroom with lysol and spray everything down because I was afraid that my kids may get something. I didnt allow them to walk on the carpet without their shoes. We paid $189.00 for one night and it wasn't even worth $40. The only thing GOOD about this hotel is that it's next door to Cracker Barrel.

Nice Place
By MichaelR, 7/11/05
Been here 3 times and will probably go back this year. We have a family of six and stayed in a double room. The hotel is not to far from the beach or family attractions. There are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Not Clean
By Bill, 6/3/05
I can't believe some of the items we found when we stayed there. M&M Chocolate pieces, a dirty hand towel in the bathroom , pillows had no pillow cases. Yucky.
