Bad Experience

We recently stayed at the Best Western Regent Inn Mansfield Center, CT. Orbitz rates it 2 stars. That is far too generous. This building has serious structural problems (this is what the hotel desk clerk told us). The result - every time the person in the room above us walked, our windows and ceiling light fixtures shook! (we were in room 103). When we explained our problem to the hotel desk, they said they couldn't do anything about it and recommended we stay on the second floor next time instead of the first. Terrible customer service. We won't be staying there anymore. We recommend a rating of 1/2 star.

Things are better in the MS Delta

This BestWestern is a disgrace to the chain--they have no newspapers because they say the delivery people will not bring any to their dispensers. They have no guides to the cable because they say people take them. They have no oatmeal in the breakfast bar because they say there is a town ordinance that says it is illegal for the hotel to have a hot breakfast--competition with the local McDonalds. This is a no-can-do kind of a place. The Best WEstern I stayed at in Greenwood MS was a whole lot better.
