They took our stuff out of our room!

Lobby was nice and airy. Looked good at first glance, but furniture was worn, some of it dirty. A dried up orange peel was seen behind the couch.
Front desk personnel was abrupt, confused and inept. After we checked into our room and unloaded our hand luggage (including purse!) we went back to the garage to get the rest of our luggage. Imagine our surprise when the elevator door opened, and out came a porter wheeling our personal belongings! Apperantly they had double-booked our room and took it upon themselves to move us out without any notice.
Subsequent rooms were shabby. We asked for another room twice, after that we gave up.
The room we finally ended up in had a water leak that left a large area of the carpet in front of the bathroom slopping wet. Since the bathroom is tiled, I slipped several times due to my wet shoes. After hours of waiting they merely sent up a custodian with a wetvac. No attempt was made to fix the problem.
The Heavenly Bath was nice, but had a slow drain, probably due to hair clogs. The toilet started to run after the first day, and we had to keep the bathroom door closed in order to sleep.
The hallway was litered with room service trays, that remained there till the next morning. (This was first noted around 4pm!)
Lots of stains on carpet and ceiling.
Pool was dirty, similar to the ring of grime that builds up on an uncleaned tub. Needless to say we did NOT go in!
If not for the fact that our daughter's pageant is held yearly at this hotel, we would've checked out and never considered coming back!
Considering these conditions and occurences, even the discounted pageant room price of $97 is way over priced. In addition, there is NOTHING complimentary in the room. Even the coffee (starbucks) had to be charged to the room bill. Also keep in mind the hefty occupancy tax of 12%.
