Worst hotel ever!

Check-in took over 10-12 minutes, as the clerk saw fit to make jokes and chat with his co-workers while he was supposed to be checking us in. Then, to peddle the Starwood Guests program, he asked me for my name and address repeatedly - as if it just wasn't worth his bother to pay attention. After all that - and another wait - he said the computers were down, and he couldn't enrol us anyway! He asked for my name an address AGAIN - and told me he would send the Starwood Guests enrollment confirmation to my room later that evening. Of course, it never came.
The room was somehwhat dirty. I found a little girl's shoe on the floor near the bed, and a old coffee filter that had not been thrown out. The heat didn't work. I called down to the front desk, and was told someone would be sent up. We went out to dinner, expecting the problem to be fixed. When we got home - close to minute, the room was still freezing. I called the desk again and was told, we could move to another room (at that hour!) or they would send up extra blankets! The bathtub was filthy. My husband suggested I take a bath to warm up, but when I saw how dirty it was, I did not dare. Breakfast the next morning was awful. The eggs were cold, and the pancakes soggy and inedible. The heat situation wasn't addressed the sedond day, and we filed another complaint, but nothing was done.
The parking garage was extremely poorly laid out. Overall, this was the worst ecperience I've ever had at a hotel. I was especially surprised since I'd stayed at other Westin Hotels - and found them to be quite luxurious and clean. this one should be completely renovated, and their staff re-trained - or else the whole place should be shut down.
