Sheraton Denver West Hotel, Lakewood

The hotel part itself was fine, the rooms nice and front desk staff helpful. But do not have an event here. Everything about having my wedding reception there was a complete nightmare. From planning to the actual event...they planner completely dropped the ball at every turn, the wait staff for the most part was rude to guest, cleared paid for drinks when they were half full, too busy eating in back to do their job, took my wedding cake, etc. I wish I had gone elsewhere but now just have to try to forget...

we were given a key to wrong room on arrival, this key worked in the wrong room, but alas we could not use internet. The next day we were moved to correct room. Our children arrived and they were given key to room and someone else was in their room. They were moved. The next day my key would not work and was discharged, may have been my fault, but when my husband got her his was discharged and he had to go back to front desk. Are you getting the idea we are at the front desk allot. The elevators were very busy so we were waiting all the time. We left a pillow in the first room. It went to lost and found locked for the weekend of our visit until monday after we are gone. Maybe it is small, but we will try new place in area on our next visit. Oh yes my daughter got an 89 dollar room and ours was 115. What was with that?/
