Best Bang For The Buck!

Like others writing reveiws, There were no vacancies at any of our preferred hotels. How bad could a Travel Lodge in upscale Marin County be? Yeah I read how terrible the reveiws were, however I had no choice but to book it or cancel our romantic excape for the weekend. Beings it was to celebrate my wife's birthday I had no choice but to stay there.
We had read all the horrible details of this hotel and was prepared for the worst but we only needed the room for a shower & a bed after all.
Well we were pleasantly surprised. We even arrived early and our room was ready. Not only was our room very clean, with a fresh fragrance, a nice clean bed to rest a tired body. And a jacuzzi in the bath to help us relax. It's rediculouas how some folks rant & rave about wall paper pealing, or warn carpet and degrading moldings, and then after the hotel makes the needed repairs then more folks whine & complain over the scent of fresh paint. So guess what cry babies? It's not the fukc-ing Hilton! And you did not pay a Hilton price!
My wife was very pleased with our room, and the jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly and very polite. We liked it so much we stayed a 2nd night.
The location was almost perfect for us, close to Stinson beach which was where we spent our days. Last time I checked a travel lodge was for travelers that needed shelter, shower & sleep for a night or two.
The criticism in the reviews the Travel Lodge at 70 bucks a night, is a bit like complaining about the shape of the Pyramids. Trust me, we feel we got more than our money's worth.
So if you want to save some money and still have a clean room, bed & bath. Then we highly recomend the TRAVEL LODGE in Mill Valley. But if you are a spoiled cry baby whiner that tends to make moutains out of ant hills, then I suggest you stay at the Hilton and with your AAA discount it's only $448.00 per night! Seems to me the people who live a golden life usually go around complaining how yellow everything looks.
You can overcome anything if you don't bellyache about everything.
