Red Roof Inn Buena Park, Buena Park

Horrible experience, I own a business in which customer service is #1 and I was appalled regarding the way our experience was handled by the manager, Jefferson. My husband and I shared a couple of drinks nearby and thought it would be better to take a cab and grab an affordable, clean motel near by. We reached our room late, 12:30a.m., and went straight to bed. When I woke up around 6:30 a.m. the room was disgusting. The shower had black goop all over it, the trash cans outside the room were overflowing and birds flocking all over and worst of all there was red drippings all over the inside of the door, this appeared to be blood or ketchup, either way disgusting. I grabbed our stuff quickly and got out of there in a hurry. Jefferson, the manager, told us there wasn't anything he could do.

The front desk staff was terrible!!!!!!! Not pleasant or helpful at all....not even the manager!!! Asked for changed rooms 3 times because they couldn't get it right, the tub would not drain so by the end of my shower the bath tub was FULL of water, the bed sheets didn't come all the way to the foot of the bed, the fan in the bathroom did not work and the continental breakfast might just as well not been there. A couple of other hotels were right across the street...I checked out within 12 hours and went elsewhere!!!! NOT worth the aggravation to save a couple of bucks!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this place to any one

ME AND MY FAMILY LIKE TIS HOTEL IT WAS CHEEP AND CLOSE TO WHERE WED LIKE TO GO WE ONLY HADE ONE PROBLEM WE HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD AND ASK FOR FIRST FLOOR AND THE PUT USE ON THE THIRD FLOOR THAT WAS IT, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY HAD CONECTING ROOMS OTHER THAN THAT WED PROBLEY STAY THERE AGIAN WHEN WE NEED TO.

our room key didnt work we had it remade 5 times .no luck we were all wet from swimming and stuck out in the cold management was of little help. didnt offer us to come into lobby to get warm because we were wet. our 6 year old got sick from being wet and cold..

In July of 2005 I stayed at this location for 1 week. I had been staying there for about 3 years on family vacations. I checked in on a Friday night, left my credit card on file for the week. By time Tuesday came they had charged $863.00 on my credit card! The total amount of my stay was to be $512.00. They also told me that I had been checked out in the middle of a week long stay. The manager was very unwilling to help me until I was talking to Capital One rep in the lobby with him standing there. The Capital One Rep ordered him to reverse my charges immediately. This also ruined my day at Disneyland and the rest of my vacation. After great lengths of fighting I got 4 free night certificates which I used elsewhere. I contacted the mayor of Buena Park to let him know. I also called the Buena Park police department when I got home.

This Hotel had great pricing. But we had a non smoking room and the sheets smelled like smoke. I think the picture on teh webstie misleads you because this is not what the hotel looks like outside.If I had to do it again I think i would have paid a little more money to have something a little nicer and less smokey.
