So, made the reservation w/you,yahoo. I was travelling w/an elderly,wheelbound person & dog, so I called the Days Inn in Sonora to confirm I would get a handicap room & dogs were ok. Desk clerk said ok, no problem, you'll get the handicap room & dogs
are ok. I knew I should of called days inn in Sonora to confirm this. I use to work in the hospitality industry. Yet, i did not call to confirm the handicap room & it was not available when I arrived 11/27 to check in. Ugh & Swear words. They had safed us a room,in the newer part of the property, on the 2nd floor, no elavator. The front desk clerk was nice, friendly & in training.
Luckily, for me they had a room on the second floor on the "old part" of the historic hotel. There was an elevator.
We took this room site unseen as it was 6:30pm & we had to meet family for dinner.
Ugh, it was a basic motel room w/ the addition of the room heater sounding like a jet engine when it was on. We need the heater, so we put up w/ the noisy.
We needed to stay somewhere so we put up w/ the Days Inn. Its is only an okay, like motel 6 or super 8 kind of place.
I relearned to call & confirm my reservation.
My experience w/ yahoo travel has been fine. I will continue to use your service. I'll just do more confirming w/ the hotel/motel/airline/operators.

I've been meaning to send days inn a letter, but my life is full of incomlpete intentions.
