Crowne Plaza Concord, Concord

I use this hotel as a little getaway from home. I use to stay at small and what I thought were cheap hotels, when I found out the Sheraton was around the same price because this hotel is mostly used for business travelers the rates are cheaper on the weekends! When I first went there, they gave me a room that I thought was kind of dingy and worn down, I called the front desk to ask them if all the rooms looked like this and they said it was because I wasn't in a remodeled room. So they gave me a remodeled room which looked like it was a completely different hotel. It was so clean and the bedding was nicer, it had a wet bar and the bathroom had black granite countertops. Even the T.V. was nicer. The only thing I can complain about is that the T.V. reception in every room I have been in there was very poor and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Most of the staff is very helpful, with the exception of few-but isn't it that way everywhere. If you stay here just make sure you ask for a remodeled room!
