Seven Gables Inn, Pacific Grove

My family and I spent the most wonderful Christmas away from home at the Seven Gables. We truly felt at home. The staff could not have been more helpful then they were. Our daughter saw the great surf break out at Lovers Point outside our cottage . The staff gave us the phone number of the local surf shop so we could rent a surfboard.within 20 min she was surfing. Our cottage was bright, clean,spacious and quite. What more can u ask for? Breakfast was outstanding with a lovely view of the Pacific and whales spouting in the distance. Need I say more! We would go back in a heartbeat!!!!!!

Loved everything from the time I booked the reservation until we checked out. Spacious rooms, beautifully decorated......even though there were other patrons, we felt like we had the place to ourselves....and.....the view.....there's not a room with a bad view....really appreciated the wine tasting every evening and the cookies and coffee before we retired for the evening. Park your car and you can walk into Pacific Grove...or...to Cannery Row...or just stroll along Montery Bay. Did I mention the gourmet breakfasts???? Ah....what a wonderful place to return to again and again....just to "get away"

Stayed at Seven Gables 1 night (Cypress Room) Beautiful ocean view. The room was very clean. I like having the refigerator which had water & soft drinks in it. We had a good breakfast the next morning and also the wine & cheese was great the night before, good cookies too. Very friendly staff! Its pricey, but worth it.

FABULOUS VIEWS, GREAT LOCATION, HELPFUL FRIENDLY STAFF, COMFORTABLE BED. COULDN'T BE BETTER. STAFF MADE US AWARE OF GOOD RETAURANTS IN THE AREA AND WERE TO GO FOR FUN. MET VERY NICE PEOPLE. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. GREAT ATMOSPHERE FOR A NICE QUITE BREAKFAST WATCHING THE OCEAN, SEALS, SAND SEA OTTERS. WE EVEN HAD A FRIENDLY VISIT FROM DEER. MY HUSBAND FED THEM AND KISSED THEM.

The Seven Gables Inn has to be the nicest place on the planet to stay. We have stayed there once a year for the last 3 years and have had no complaints. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained, as well as having great vies. The staff was fantastic, the location perfect. It is peaceful, quiet and relaxing. On our first anniversary we stayed at the Inn; they left a nice note and gift for us, and made sure the restaurant we went to knew we were coming (they treated us like royalty there too). I can't imagine that the whole story is being told in the one negative review I've read on this website. BTW, there are several great places to eat nearby, and several off the beaten path tourist attractions--just ask the staff for a suggestion.

I loved everything about this beautiful Inn. The employees pay so much attention to detail. I went there for my anniversary and they left a gift on our bed with a congratulatory gift. The food was good and the views were amazing. I've never had a better experience. Plus, it's within walking distance to a couple miles of everywhere you would want to go.
