4 reviews for Sea Horse Resort, San Clemente
we cant wait to go back
By BOB M, 08/18/07
This is a wonderful place to stay. The service is excellent, the room is AWESOME and the view is magnificent. I have been there numerous times and will be back SOON. The owners are very warm and VERY accomodating.

We had a wonderful time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/06
I was a little aprehensive about staying here because of the negative reviews I read on the internet so I went there on an unannounced visit. I was greeted warmly and given the key to the room. It looked just as it appeared on the website and it was very clean. Subsequently my husband I stayed there the first weekend in October and we were very satisfied. If you want luxury and room service go to the Surf and Sand. If you want a clean and comfortable place with a spectacular view, then this is the one for you. Sharon

Don't even think of it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/05
If being clean is important to you than move along from this "motel". This is the most disgusting place I have ever seen. Filthy, smelly and bugs everywhere. The only way that someone would write a positive comment on this hole, is if they were being paid to do so. We spend $179 to stay there for one hour. We tried to get our money back, but was rudly denied. The owners should be locked up for charging such and outrageous amount for a place that a pack of fraternity brothers would consider gross. Check out The Cove down the block, at least they have an idea of how to clean a room and keep up a hotel.

Mickey is Here!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/05
If you would have had me write this review the first time we stayed here, it would have been a totally different review. Unfortunately, This time around we were greeted by a guest the morning i tried to make breakfast. As soon as i hit the kitchen, it darted accross the floor and flew under the sink. They've got mice..... But, you know what made it worse. Droppings all over the kitchen: on the plates, utencils, and on the pans. Don't cook if you heed my review, cause now it is a health concern. If you stay here; eat out. Anyways, what made it worse was the poor customer service we received(Sorry Kathy it wasnt you or your husband.) When I addressed our little guest, i was greeted with "How about i run up there in a little while and lay some traps. I'll have the maid do a quick cleanup" No more No Less. However, an hour later no traps and no clean-up. Needless to say, we asked to move. Unfortunately, the new room had droppings as well as, dead ants in the bath tub. Not a good experience!!!!! Stay if you will, its got a great view, but remember you'll be sharing the room with someone who isnt helping out with the rent. And its not Mickey!!!!!
