HOTEL HELL Part 3,4,5 and 6
OK people, let this review be a warning: The Red Tile Inn is by far and wide a "bad experience hotel." Don't be fooled by the "good" online reviews. Most of the comments are written by the owner Bina or family (who create multiple email addresses and writes her/their own reviews). When you look at the negative comments about the room and carpet being dirty, cheap furniture, bad food and the extremely rude customer service.... believe it. If people are telling YOU this hotel (MOTEL) is bad, pay attention to their comments. Don't chalk it up and convince yourself "this person just had a bad experience." And please don't be swayed by purposely written good reviews.
Just for starters: the entire hotel smells of cigarettes so if you don't smoke and choose to stay here, have a cup of cancer with your continental breakfast. If you have children, you might want to keep them off the carpet -- more for the fleas than the dirt.
(1) Why does a hotel need a bullet proof glass between you and the front desk? If your place has been robbed, hire an off duty police officer and keep some sense of professionalism. Go read for yourself on yahoo.
(2) Why is the staff so damn mean? Um - maybe because apples don't fall far from the tree...again the owner being Mom BINA. This is the same BINA that hired a web site developer who won't allow YOU to post a comment about their motel unless YOU provide hotels dot com
It states: To submit reviews, please enter the last name of the credit card holder and either your credit / debit card number or your confirmation number.
Why not just let people post a comment without all the BS? Negative reviews should serve as a wakeup call to provide better service.
Just a heads up, avoid the unskilled manager, Nadene. You'd get better customer service from The Comfort Inn. Spend your money elsewhere
