GOT TOWED AND PAID $215 DUE TO INADEQUATE WARNINGS

This Holiday Inn in Walnut Creek has front parking and underground parking and a side alley that takes you to the underground, but the side alley looks like part of the Holiday Inn property. The signs are small and hard to see at night. The hotel told me they don't want to make bigger signs because it would be a negative message. But the tow sure ruined my day and the hotel wouldn't comp me. The owner who towed me told me that the Holiday Inn quit allowing his tenants to park underneath and so he instituted the tow penalty for the parking spots that look like they are part of Holiday Inn. He told me it wasn't his fault that the hotels signs were small and the hotel told me that they have tried to get him to put up better warning signs. I got caught in this dispute and Holiday Inn wasn't very hospitable. I am a woman and was trying to safely park my care at night. I did not feel safe.
