Days Inn Torrance Redondo Beach, Torrance

We enjoyed our stay and will return when in the area next. When we arrived earlier than expected our requested room was not yet available but a substitute was made ready in about 20 minutes. The property is older and the rooms are small but it was worth the price we paid. The service was very good and staff very friendly and we were made to feel more than welcome. The property is in the middle of renovations but I never heard any noise. A cute and friendly restaurant is one the same location and offers a discount to hotel guests.

They are in the process of change.Inside the room is a new experience.The renovated room with new furniture looks great. They have very courteous Front /Desk & House keeping staff.The responses are fast.New breakfast looks better. They were not good in my earlier experience.

We checked in on a weekend. The front desk staff was nice. After that, everything went downhill. The room was not properly cleaned. There was a used chewing gum under the telephone and a half eaten quesadilla between the bed and the night table. The room smelled awful and the carpet was filthy. There's a sign by the pool area that drinking glasses and bottle were not allowed in the premises. But in the afternoon, 5 local guys who work at the Indian Restaurant were drinking by the pool with beer bottles and wine glass. There was not enough towels for the guest and you cannot trust putting your stuff inside the drawer nor on top of the bed. We have to clean all our clothes right after we got home. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. THAT HOTEL SHOULD BE CLOSED FOR GOOD. I've stayed at Days Inn in Anaheim and it was the total opposite. The room was big and very clean. This one in Torrance... you have to go to the hospital for a tetanus shot right after you stay in that hotel. I AND MY FAMILY HAVE MARKED THAT HOTEL AND WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND WE WILL WARN OUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVE NOT TO BOOK THERE. IT IS UTTERLY AWFUL!!!

I booked the jacuzzi suite thinking it was a lot of room for the price. I stepped into the room and immediately noticed the awful smell. The couch was torn and stained. The sheets were stained and the coverlet between the bedspread and sheets had smear marks. I was in the room no longer than 10 minutes. I went back to the lobby and checked out. It was a terrible experience.
