Viceroy Santa Monica, Santa Monica

I havent been to the Viceroy for many months and was bowled away by how fabulous it has become recently. A friend and I stayed for a long weekend and we are trying to figure out a cunning plan on how we can take up permanent residence in the hotel. I travel a lot in Europe, US and Asia and Im putting the Viceroy in my top 5 hotels. Firstly and foremost, ALL the staff were charming and genuine and lovely, from the moment we were handed a glass of champagne on arrival to the moment our bags were put in the car when we left. The service was great. Room service arrived in record time. Fish tacos to DIE for. The Viceroy also won big brownie points as Im the worlds biggest Bloody Mary snob and i had one of the best sitting by its pool. One of my favourite things alongside Bloody Marys, is a comfy bed and the hotel has the most comfortable beds Ive had the pleasure to sleep in. My room was flawless, the shower fabulous and the view overlooking the beach was phenomenal. IAnd the brilliant bar onsite definitely helps! The place has improved so dramatically. Well done to the staff at the Viceroy!!!! They made our weekend perfect and I am planning another weekend trip at the end of this month with another friend before returning to London! FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!

my mother informed me that a man fell off the 7th floor balcony and died. be careful otherwise its a nice place. great food great service, provides tampons.

Great location close to the pier and an elegant environment. The food is fantastic. I went on business and had a great time in addition to all the comodities that I needed. The home-made granola is superb.

Hurry on in to this hip hotel, it could be out of style soon. Service is great with cool rooms. Great feather beds and inroom amenities. Cool bar to hang out and meet with famous people. See and be seen. Stylin cabanas at the pool, good location, walk to the beach.

This is a great hotel. The decor, the style, etc was amazing. Great location - across the street from the beach, within walking distance to the Pier as well as many restaurants/shops. The service is good. The bar and restaurant downstairs are great - very good scene at the bar. Rooms are nice - ask if you can get a water view - it is a great way to wake up in the morning!
