Old Monterey Inn, Monterey

My husband and I chose this B&B among many in Monterey. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the Old Monterey Inn. We were greeted upon arrival by friendly staff and given a tour of the historic hotel which is just absolutely stunning. The food was gourmet and we enjoyed breakfast in our room and in the formal dining room. Both were excellent. We took advantage of the wine and hors d' oeuvres before heading out to dinner. The inn had menus from almost every restaurant and we took their great advice for our meals. A romantic, relaxing inn.

Beautiful inn and grounds, luxurious but cozy room, great service, fantastic food, amazing attention to detail. The perfect place to spend our anniversary.

I love the Old Monterey Inn. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast superb. Breakfast is even better when you have it in the beautiful garden. It's a quaint, cottage type B&B... so rustic, warm and inviting. It's a short stroll into town and to the Wharf. They have all the little details worked out. I always feel like an honored guest when I visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Monterey Inn. My husband took me as a surprise for my birthday and it was such a wonderful one. Loved the fireplace in the room. The bed was super comfortable. Decor was lovely and cozy. Also enjoyed the whirlpool bathtub. Internet access was great to have.
